We had an excellent experience with Paulson’s. We were relatively indecisive and John Stone was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to help guide us to choose the right carpet plus he was easy to work with and patient. We absolutely love our carpet, it’s perfect for the room!
So happy with our experience with John Stone and the entire Paulson's experience. We replaced all the carpet in our house and took out some carpet to match the exciting hardwood floors. John made the entire process so painless.Picking carpet is overwhelming but John's legit knowledge of every brand and option was so helpful in making a decision. He didn't push us towards anything, just answered our questions and helped inform our decision based on what we were looking for.One of the biggest things that helped was the crew John had install out carpets. They moved all the big stuff and put it all back where it was, even made sure our pool table was level! So happy with the results.Go to Paulson's, ask to work with John Stone- you will be in great hands!
So happy to work with John Stone and the entire crew at Paulson's. We had a really big job to replace all our carpet and lace in hardwood flooring to replace our downstairs carpet and match it e existing floors.John really helped with the carpet selection process, explaining in serious detail the difference between brands, strands, nap, and more. He didn't push us towards anything, just gave the facts and answered our questions. The perfect shopping experience honestly. The installers were great and we just couldn't be happier. If you're looking for flooring, go to Paulson's and ask for John Stone!Thank you
Edit review: I have emailed you like you requested and surprise surprise no response. I stand by my review and wish I could give ZERO stars. You do poor quality work and don’t stand behind it. Then when you ask me to correspond with you privately through email I try and you fail to respond. If you want tile to FALL APART on you with little to no time go with them. If you want someone to NOT respond to you go with them.We moved into a house that had been lived in for 9 months before us. We noticed the tiles would rock in 2 of the bathrooms and the laundry room when walking on them. Once we figured out who the sub was for the house (we are second owners) we called and let them know that all the grout is coming up and the tiles are loose. This is less than 2 years after install. They sent out someone to look who agreed it would need to be totally ripped out and redone and that the supervisor would call. Never called. My husband had to call multiple times to get the answer that they could give us a quote on how much it would be to redo. No offer to make an embarrassing job correct. Why would I pay you to redo your horrible work that you did in the first place? If you are considering them for tile work keep looking for someone else. They don’t even stand behind their own work that they just completed.
The two installers arrived during their two hour window, about 30 minutes before the end.I showed them the two areas, two sets of stairs and two small "landing" areas. Each installer worked on one area, removing the old carpet, old pad and nail strips and then finally sweeping the area clean. The stairs were obviously more time consuming because of the risers and steps, but the same process.I chose a loop or Berber style of carpet to replace the single twisted strands of shag. (It was VERY old and VERY tamped down)Next, the installers went through the process of nailing into place new strips, followed by new padding and finally the new carpet.I don't recall the name of the process, but it was pulled taught over the edge of the steps and stapled underneath for a very clean, finished look. Minimal extra charge for that. Typically, carpet is pulled taught over the edge and nailed to the base of the riser. "Waterfall" or "Cascading" I believe is the term. The finished product is amazing! The colors may appear a bit washed out. It's actually a very light blue-grey with white/ivory lines in it.----------------------------------Sadly, I need to make an important update to my review. This does NOT involve Paulson's Flooring, although, they need to pay close attention to this as they ARE the retailer that carries and sells this floor covering. After having the carpet for just about a month now, I've noted a very noxious odor coming from it. During the third week it was causing me to have headaches and making me nauseous. The technician performing the cleaning service also noted the smell immediately upon entering my residence.Nothing to do with the installation, it's the backing of the carpet itself:I contacted Mohawk directly and they suggested a "deep cleaning" as the multi-year, multi-issue warranty doesn't cover noxious odors/smells eminating from the carpet. At this point, I feel as though a warning label should be included with this product stating something to the effect that, "This product may cause dizziness, nausea, headaches...", something to that effect. As the carpet is made in part from "all natural, plant-based materials". The top, loops, are made from Triexta, also known as SmartStrand, is a synthetic carpet fiber known for being very soft, durable, and stain-resistant.None of that should have caused the uneasiness I was experiencing, the nausea and headaches. The deep cleaning helped but ultimately, the culprit was the padding that caused those odors.I'm hoping that after a rep from Paulson's reviews this new information someone reaches out to me in order to resolve this matter swiftly.
