KC Floorworx did a fantastic job on new flooring in my house. I got LVP that looks like beautiful wood and carpet for the stairs and upstairs hallway. Everyone was knowledgeable and friendly. I mean everyone, Kirsten the owner, Melissa in the office and Cassidy the floor installer. All of Cassidy’s team did a great job also. I highly recommend this company!!
TLDR: I 100% will recommend KC Floorworx to EVERYONE in need of any type of new flooring!Long version:I needed a last minute install of a vinyl floor in the new bathroom (long story) and no one could do it in less than 3 weeks. Fortunately I had not paid for the flooring yet so, when I was left to find someone new to do the job at the last minute, it was a stressful nightmare (had to put the plumber off for a third time- the first 2 were due to the sheetrock guys) but I wasn't out any money.After a few hours of looking up online reviews and hearing ridiculous prices from various flooring companies who couldn't do it sooner than 3 weeks out anyway, I finally stumbled across a local company that I had no idea even existed! Enter KC Floorworx! Melissa (works in the office) answered the phone and listened to what I needed, then assured me that they could help. I was so relieved I may have started crying on the phone, lol. She was amazing and put me at ease, but did say they only install their own products. Ok, no problem, I will look at your options. While talking with her on the phone I found 2 options that were very similar to what I had chosen from Menards, so she worked up a quote for both and called me the next day. Melissa had someone (I think the owner?) out the next day to measure, talk about what I was wanting done, and order the material.I had to work the day of the install (about a week later) so my parents tag-teamed being there with the floor guy who came out and both said he did an amazing job and was very thorough and detailed in his work. The floor looks amazing and I couldn't be happier with it! They did me a huge solid by getting the process done quickly, did great work, and were amazing to work with. Please use them for your flooring needs, they are located in Blue Springs and are a small company who takes pride in their work so you won't be sorry!
I will definitely be utilizing KC Floorworx for all future flooring projects. Kirsten was so helpful making sure I was picking the style and materials I wanted to create the home I envisioned. Cassidy, Jason and Nick were reliable, prompt, and overall great guys to have around for a couple days replacing carpet in the bedrooms, on the stairs and placing LVP in the basement of the house we just bought. Great local company with skilled tradespeople to handle your flooring needsKC Floorworx tackled the job of 2 floors worth of new carpet. That's 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a dining room, staircase and upper landing. Super pleased with the crews, the products recommended and the owner Joe Bartels with his approach. Our house has made such a nice transformation with their help. Definitely look them up if you need carpet or flooring. They are also handling the hardwood refinishing next year, so very capable for all facets of flooring
