Highly recommend Majestic Flooring and Design. The whole team at Majestic are so welcoming and willing to help you with any design needs. They have great quality on all their flooring and tile. I have built two custom homes and have used them for flooring and tile in both of my homes. I had two different budget points for each home and each time I loved the outcomes.
?????????? Nancy is the best!We worked with Nancy at Majestic Flooring & Design when we built our home 7 years ago, and she was amazing, so much so that we came straight back to her when we recently needed to replace flooring and tile due to a flood. Nancy is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. She has a fantastic eye for design and helped us navigate every detail, making the entire process feel effortless. Her guidance and experience were truly invaluable during both projects. We’re so grateful for her help and can’t recommend her highly enough. 10/10 would recommend.
Majestic Flooring and Design is an exceptional company that employs personnel who believes in customer service before anything else. Chris Woods, Project Manager, took over our removal and replacement of our hardwood flooring when another company quit mid job: it was clearly too difficult for them. Chris ensured us that our project (the result of a flood) would be completed to our utmost satisfaction. He never let us down and was always there to answer our dozens of questions. Chris was professional, patient and most of all, understanding of our situation. When you can choose from several flooring companies, we highly recommend that you give Majestic Flooring and Design in Garden City a strong consideration. You will get service and results tenfold.
Our experience was and continues to be awful. Majestic Flooring was hired to do the flooring in our home 5 years ago. We had carpet and LVP flooring installed. Immediately after install we noticed problems with the LVP flooring. You could see the blue material that was laid between the subfloor and planks between some of the seems of the floor (which were very wide gaps). We sent pictures to Chris and he and another guy came by to look and a few were adjusted and putty was used between some of the larger gaps. Chris's response to our disappointment in the appearance of the floors was "Well you picked inexpensive flooring). The carpet installers also scuffed up our stair railing during install and Chris's "fix" for that was to come over with a black sharpie and fill it in. As the past few years have gone on we have had multiple planks start to pop up and noticed more gaps between planks. We called to have someone come take a look at the floor and stretch the carpet. We were told by the gal ( Amanda I believe) who answered the phone that they would find a spot on the schedule and call us. It took weeks and 3 calls from us to finally get something on the schedule. Chris denied that we had ever called in the first place. The repair guy they sent out looked and the floors and said they were not installed correctly and urged us to ask Majestic to fix them. We called Majestic and Chris was extremely rude and disrespectful. He said the floors were floating and when I told him the repair guy said they had been glued he told me " Robert didn't say that". He said I should just have my husband call him. He then said he would send out the brand rep for Hallmark Flooring to come look at the floors. Austin came out and I got the impression that Chris had already given him his opinion on us and our flooring issue. Either way Austin checked many areas of the floor and also felt they weren't right. He said he would give his suggestions to Majestic and that someone would call us. We didn't hear from anyone for days so my husband called and left a voicemail with the manager at Majestic regarding Austin's visit and what can be done with the floors. The manager called and left a message saying it has been well over the 1 year install warranty and there was nothing they could do. Fast forward to today and we had a professional flooring repair company come take a look at the floors and they immediately said the flooring was not installed correctly. He said there was so much movement in the planks. These were sold to us as 20yr floors and it has been 5 and they are failing. 3 professionals have told us they were installed incorrectly yet Majestic refuses to fix the issue. They not only have given themselves a bad name but are not doing any favors for the product itself made by Hallmark Flooring.
My experience with Majestic Flooring was awful. We were required to use them by our builder, Amyx Signature Homes. After traveling 300 miles we were stood up for our first appointment. On our next visit our assigned associate kept us waiting over 45 minutes while she chatted and giggled on the phone with her daughter. The order was not placed in a timely manner and there were cost increases in the products we ordered. The wood flooring was defective and we would not accept damaged goods and made them replace it. Why would a company expect a client to accept flooring that was defective? The installer did not confirm how the flooring was to be installed around the fireplaces so he did it the way he wanted. When I questioned this Majestic said that he had tried to contact me. There were no texts, voicemails or missed calls on my phone. The installation of the carpet on the stairs is strange in my opinion. I don't think it is safe either. (Would you like to see a x-ray of my broken foot? See picture of stairs and judge for yourself.) The tile around the fireplaces is mismatched and makes me crabby every time I look at it. I would not recommend them to anyone.
