It’s rare that I feel compelled to leave a review for a company but we were truly blown away by the quality of service, thoughtfulness, and professionalism of the hardwood giant. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. We’ve had a pretty hard time finding contractors and tradesmen that are reliable, communicate well, and show care in their work - this experience checked all the boxes and then some. Phillip was personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and very responsive. If you’re looking to get your floors refinished or new ones put in, I’d highly recommend you go with this company. We got new hardwoods woven into old hardwoods (white oak) and had the entire upstairs, downstairs, and stair treads refinished. Looks great and only took a week to do.

We found The Hardwood Giant through an internet search. We read a few great reviews and decided to contact them (Phil). Working with him was seamless. He came to our home to provide an estimate for replacing carpeting in two bedrooms with hardwood, and replacing tile in the laundry room with LVL. He turned around an estimate the next day, and brought us samples for the LVL a couple of days later. Phil was able to schedule the work a week later, and the floors came out better than we could have hoped. Phil's team was able to match the existing hardwood floor, in plank size and stain. The LVL also looks fantastic in our laundry room. We highly recommend The Hardwood Giant!

Replaced our last two rooms of carpet with red oak hardwood flooring to match existing. I can not speak highly enough about the professionalism, installation and quality of work. Everyone showed up on time and worked hard to minimize the impact of construction on our home. I have used a few companies over the years and Giant Hardwood Flooring far exceeds. I highly recommend this company!!!

My Wife and I recently purchased a home in Monroe, NC and needed the hardwood floors refinished. We received several quotes and decided to go with Phil even though his quote was not the lowest. He is honest, on time for appointments, does his own measurements, offers to add new moulding in places you wouldn't think, and had our quote ready the very next day. His entire crew was very pleasant, respectful, and professional. The job was completed on time and turned out fantastic! Their quality of work is worth every penny.
