Extremely satisfied with the outcome of our floors from Jace! Our original hardwood floor was installed years ago and we recently noticed that the floor was becoming soft due to water from under the foundation. We attempted to cover them with rugs (out of sight, out of mind) until we knew we had to replace them. We initially reached out to Jace Flooring due to their excellent ratings and George was extremely responsive from the start. We sent him pictures of our floors and he was able to tell us exactly what type of engineered flooring we had and what our options were to replace. After a few months of deciding on our next steps, we asked George for a quote, and even before I had decided to go with Jace, George brought me multiple samples to match my existing floors. George has many connections and was able to find a good match to the existing floors. The install was scheduled for 4 weeks out but luckily there was an opening and George's team was able to complete the job much sooner than expected. We are so happy with the outcome! We highly recommend George for his professionalism, expertise, clear communication and is a pleasure to work with.
We went with JACE Hardwood Flooring to replace 1500 sq ft of carpet with engineered hardwood (French white oak) and refinish our red oak hardwood stairs to match.George, Sergio, Mike, and the rest of the team were great to work with. Our Black Walnut floors were installed by our builder California Pacific Homes in 2008, we chose the darkest stain with deep black grooves. After 17 years of barefoot kids and a dog, we were ready to refinish them and lighten things up. George and his crew did such a beautiful job, so efficiently, skillfully, and neatly. George and his crew clearly care about and know their craft. Throughout all the stages of sampling to finish, George was responsive and easy to communicate with, very knowledgeable about my existing wood floor and even predicted very closely what it would look like after sanding and refinishing (he sent me an Instagrams of a job he’d done in the past and said our floor would look like this. Our floor’s finished product is pretty darn close, probably admittedly the same—tough to tell because our walls are yellow, and the Instagram home’s walls are white). After sanding, some of our planks were awkwardly lighter than the planks around them. George took great care and effort to make sure they blended with the planks around them to my satisfaction. After our walk through, I looked even more closely and to my delight the edges in corners and around corners were sanded and stained/finished amazingly accurately, without damaging surfaces around them. There’s literally no trace of the old dark stain. I give serious kudos to their attention to detail. Having been fortunate to be able to watch their process and their craftsmanship, as well as their respect for my property, I highly recommend Jace Flooring and will trust only them to take care of all my hardwood flooring needs in the future.
