The experience from showroom selection and assistance, to site measuring and installation were excellent. Paul Massoud and his installers Geo and Alex were terrific. So happy with my new kitchen and dining area floor. Would use them again!
We are so pleased with the service we received from Massuds. It's so refreshing dealing with a family business where you speak with the owners & are treated as a valuable customer. Their rug choices & installers are excellent.....definitely would recommend to anyone looking for flooring or rug installation!
I had luxury vinyl floors installed, and they look beautiful. The real kudos go to the two men who installed the floor. Very professional and well done. My only regret is that the store is located in an area where I had to park on the side street and was worried about my car all the time I was trying to choose flooring. So the process was a little rushed, and there was only one person in the store at the time and he really couldn’t give me much help. I do wish the pricing was more transparent. The pricing they gave me was one lump sum so I don’t know how much was flooring and how much was labor. It did end up costing me almost $500 more because they charged me for Buying new baseboards, which I didn’t know they were going to do, but it turned out OK, and they charged extra for having to cut down some of the doors because the flooring was so thick.
We went off the reviews posted when looking for a floor company. Something was off from our first visit. Family members gossiping about other family members, in front of us. We seemed to be interrupting them. (Looking back now, we should have walked out)They gave us no itemized bill, so we have no idea what costs where what. (On us, that we just assumed a legitimate business would do this). Communication was poor at best, we then we finally got the floors done. Vinyl was done over a large area and two rooms carpeting. We had tile removed from the dining area, which left a huge mess that we are still cleaning up. They left big pieces of tile under our baseboard, that we had to clean up. They didn’t even wash the floors when done. This was over $11k, this would have been expected. They broke a baseboard ( they never told us about) and made errors in the entranceway. The threshold from dining to kitchen is raised up seems like the wrong one. I called to speak with Joe, who was very rude on the phone, making excuses for every concern I had. Joe came out a few days later and continued to make excuses and change the story of what we were originally told. It took a week to fix two of my concerns and the guys returning again made a mess and didn’t clean up, they were not interested in fixing the issues and had attitudes. The other issues we are stuck with. Joe recommended us buying additional trim because there would be a space between new floor and baseboard, this space is so small, the trim wasn’t needed and we paid for this for no reason and we are stuck with it. They refused to adjust the invoice in any way. I wouldn’t recommend based on professionalism alone.
Highly recommend! Paul was very helpful and professional throughout the process. Very responsive! They removed carpet and tile and replaced it with luxury vinyl that looks and feels like real wood. The guys that did the work were on time, friendly and did an amazing job!
