Rhode Island Floor Planing Company Inc

We had our hardwood floors refinished and couldn’t be happier with both the experience and the results. The team was incredibly personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer our questions, explain our options, and made us feel confident in every decision. The craftsmanship speaks for itself — our floors look beautiful and completely transformed the space while still preserving the character of our home. They were professional, communicative, and clearly take pride in their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and a great overall experience.

Michael was fantastic to work with. Super nice and made sure we were happy with the finished product. It took 2 tries to get the color we wanted and Michael was patient with us and really went above and beyond to accommodate the change. A very fair and good experience. Michael is a good human and I really appreciate working with people like that. By the way for anyone looking for the right shade for red oak floors where it isn’t too red or too light/dark a 50/50 mix of Special Walnut and Dark Walnut was the winner ??

RI Floor Planing is a trustworthy, family run business that consistently delivers exceptional results. Mike is a true professional - we’ve worked together over the years, and most recently, he transformed my 100+ year-old heart pine floors. We discussed various finishes and ultimately went with a high quality water-based polyurethane to lighten the tone, replacing the old oil-based finish. The results are stunning - highly recommend!

Mike and his team are fantastic. The experience he brings to the job is immediately apparent in the knowledge he shares upon first seeing the floors. They did every inch of flooring in our first home, and even added the kitchen to the job after we found hardwoods under the subfloor. We're so glad we chose them, and wouldn't hesitate to schedule again!

This is my third time using RI Flooring in over 30 years. Great family business. They are still hard working perfectionists that take pride in their craft. This last job they performed was extra special. I had an area which was full of deep gouges and such a mess. I thought I might have to replace it but Anthony and Nick made this area look brand new again! In addition to that I had minor dust residue and they were extremely kind. I feel they are the best company on the East coast for refinishing hardwoods. Thank you Anthony, Nick and Mike for another exceptional job. When I look at these floors I’ll think of you all?? I’m so happy with these floors I had to show the end result. RI Flooring did a superb job removing the old yellow poly that was on my floors. Now I can appreciate the beauty of my white maple floors. Thank you again,
