I had an excellent experience with Danville Hardwood Company, starting with the Operations and Showroom Manager, Scott, and continuing through the installation process with Cesar leading the team to install our beautiful floors. Every interaction with Scott (at my home, in the showroom, and via phone calls and texts) was very pleasant and he was always kind, knowledgeable, a good listener, and flexible to my needs and timeline. He has a passion for this business, and his goal is to make sure his clients are happy with the process every step of the way. He is an excellent representative of the company, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of hardwood flooring services.

During the installation process, the onsite team of three was led by Cesar, and he was phenomenal! He is clearly experienced and knowledgeable in the flooring field (and beyond!), and provided great communication to me, as well as his team over the course of the project. I appreciated how detailed the team was in making sure the work area was taped up tightly to protect the rest of the home, and the guys worked very diligently the entire time they were here tearing out the old floor and installing the new one. They were always pleasant and made sure to clean up along the way. One of the most impressive things was how “above and beyond” Cesar and team went to help with some non-flooring matters that came up during their time here. In particular, we discovered that our dishwasher had been left unbalanced from a prior countertop installation crew that had been in the home the week before, and water was now pooling under the dishwasher. Cesar and his team removed the dishwasher and during that process Cesar noticed there was an improper hose connection behind the dishwasher. He knew exactly what the proper connection should be, and he left our home to run down to Ace Hardware to pick up the right part for me, which was so kind of him to do. Above and beyond service, for sure! He installed the correct part behind the dishwasher, and then he and the team correctly reinstalled and rebalanced the dishwasher. He also had me test the dishwasher to make sure everything was working before he left, in case he needed to do any additional adjustments. He was so kind and willing to help! And they didn’t stop there – Cesar and the team gave the same “white glove” service to reinstalling and leveling our stove and refrigerator too, which was so reassuring. Hands down, Cesar and his team provided the best onsite experience and highest quality service we’ve ever had during multiple remodel projects over the years. The new floor looks beautiful and we’re thankful to Scott/Danville Hardwood Company, along with Cesar and his team for everything they did for us!

Wow. Danville Hardwoods is a class act business. We recently completed an entire house install of engineered hardwood floors. From the moment I walked into the showroom (9 months pregnant!) to the moment they dropped off complementary wood floor cleaner on the last day, I felt so taken care of and could not be happier with the final results.

From the outset, I knew it would be an expensive project. Our 1940s style Spanish Adobe home had 3000 square feet of broken and discolored Spanish tile to remove (over complicated water-based radiant floors) and much of the property needed to be leveled.

Most wood floor companies I talked to suggested I work with a general contractor first and then contact them when everything was ready for a simple install.

Not Danville Hardwoods.

They formulated a plan to remove the tile and level 5-6 very tricky areas. They also installed an entire house worth of base boards. It’s not an understatement to say that when they left, I felt like I had a completely new home.

From a service perspective, the entire Danville hardwoods team is top notch. Although I primarily worked with Scott, I interacted with almost every member of staff during my (many) trips to the showroom (Val, Miles etc.). They are all absolutely lovely folks who seem to be invested in making sure my project was success and never seemed to be bothered when I checked out yet another sample board... ;)

Further to this point, I worked primarily with Scott during project. I am honestly flabbergasted by the most recent review that mentioned him specifically. During my many months working with Scott, I found him to be an absolute gentlemen. Knowledgeable, kind, reliable and completely non-pushy from a sales perspective. He was so patient with me as I struggled to fine the “perfect” floor and grappled with moving my family out while they demoed the tile. Without his stewardship, I don’t think the process would have ever moved forward.

Scott’s detailed pricing was also very straight forward. And although Danville Hardwoods is not the cheapest company around, their quotes are fair and should be treated as an “all in” amount with change orders after the fact a rarity.

Further to this point, I’d also like to take opportunity to mention my top notch installer, Cesar. Cesar is a master craftsman that doesn’t cut corners. From our first meeting, he was savant like in his quick understanding of my peculiar Spanish Adobe property and articulating a plan of attack for its problem areas.

My father, who is a retired General Contractor, commented specifically on Ceasar’s finishing work. Remarking that it was exceptional and that we were lucky to get a wood floor company to handle so many of the final small details. It truly felt like they wanted to leave everything as perfect as humanly possible.

I’d like to extend my many thanks again to Scott, Cesar and the rest of team for all of the effort expanded on my home. We are so happy with our decision to work with Danville Hardwoods. Worth every penny.

I high recommend Danville Hardwood Co. They met every expectation we had. The crew was punctual and always cheerful. They finished our downstairs floor and stairs in only one and a half weeks but without compromising quality. We love the finished product! One of the rooms we installed the hardwood floors in is now my dance studio allowing me to choreograph and rehearse from home. The floor can be hard and cold in the non-summer months so if looking to install floors for a yoga or dance studio, I suggest raising the floor or adding a heating element. We are on a concrete slab. I give Danville Hardwood Co. a 10/10 both for craftsmanship and customer care!

I just had my floors refinished by Mario with Danville Hardwood. The floors are absolutely gorgeous! Mario did a great job of containing the dust during the refinishing, and he was patient with all of my questions, and keeping me involved in the progress. Everyone I spoke with at the office was friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend!
