We had our floors done a year ago, and continue to be thrilled with the product, installation and customer service. The reason I waited with doing the review was because I wanted to get past the "honeymoon stage". We continue to be happy with the quality of workmanship and materials. Also, several months after the installation, our downstairs neighbour asked if we had been away on an extended vacation. Nope, that's how good the levelling and soundproofing was that they installed. By way of explanation, we live in a 40+ year old frame building.
Great quality floor product but I feel they over charge for installation. Your best bet is to buy the product at their store and find a qualified installer on your own. I also did not like the plumber they used to install our new toilets.Acorn Plumbing charged us $ 875 to install 2 brand new toilets out of the box. They should shop around to find a better supplier as they can give them lots of business. I could have used the plumbers from Lowes and had it done for $350.Our floor installer was top notch but I suspect the store marks up his labour and material cost just like a general contractor does on a reno project. We had a full reno done in the past 4 weeks and discovered they would have done the same job at at about 75% of what we paid. If I were to do it again I would find an installer first and then buy the flooring.
I wish more companies were like Delta Carpets. They are not only a nice bunch of people, they also stand behind their product in a way that I have never seen.
