The team at Mac Hardwoods are the real deal. They provide knowledgeable and friendly service. They were helpful in ordering the proper amount of hardwood floor for my project. Their pricing is market driven, so they were fair as fair can be in this market. And when I needed a few scraps to finish a small closet addition, they went over and above to share some of the shop leftovers. I've purchased two full pre-finished systems from them, and if I do another one, I will be back.
MacDonald Hardwoods did a wonderful job with the purchasing and installation of my new oak floor. Tom and Scott were great. Tom came to house and provided excellent advise on the installation and insured that the measurements and transition pieces were all correct. Scot did an excellent job scheduling and insuring that the work was completed in the minimum required time. I also would like to give an excellent recommendation to Bllue Mtn Flooring who actually installed the new floor and sanded and refinished our older wood floor. They did excellent work and matched the color such that you really can't tell where the new and the 25 year old floors come together. Both companies rate 10 out of 10.

This is an unsolicited review. For a handful of years it had been time to replace the worn and dated carpet. We considered just about every option, ultimately deciding hardwood was the only real choice. That led to a visit to MacDonald's showroom. We had an idea of the look we wanted, it came down to two - natural ash or hickory. Two months later and we are beyond happy! Installers Chad and Bud did a fabulous job. Combined with new paint over the winter, we have a new house, open and airy.
We love our new hardwood floors that we purchased and had installed by MacDonald Hardwoods. Scott helped us select the right material and color for our home. We chose the a walnut flooring with darker tones. Scott recommended them to be glued to the concrete basement floor and that was a great decision. They are solid and secure to the floor. They are also easy to clean after entertaining and look wonderful!
