Floor Coverings International Northwest Des Moines

Working with Brett and his crew was a positive experience. Brett assessed our flooring and offered several repair scenarios. We opted to replace the flooring completely and we are glad we did. The new floors look great! We highly recommend this company.

We had an amazing experience with Floor Coverings International. My husband and I had just bought our first home and we had removed the carpeting in our living room to discover only the plywood subfloor. We had expected that the house would have hardwood floors being that it was older. However, it did not. We had tried hiring someone else to install LVP and they ended up canceling on us the night before installation. At this point is when I found Floor Coverings International, Brett the owner, came out and did an in home estimate. He was amazing and very willing to help us find the best solution for our situation. We were going to need subfloor repair and leveling, he was also willing to work with the flooring we had already purchased. However, we decided to return the previous flooring and purchase Coretec LVP through Brett. He was extremely informative and really made us feel taken care of after having gone through a negative experience with the other flooring person. The installers were also amazing and did a great job. They installed the floors in one day when it originally was supposed to take two. We would definitely go with this company again for any other flooring needs!

Great service from a locally owned business. We had our basement flooring totally replaced with high quality carpet from Floor Coverings International of Des Moines. The process was easy with a mobile showroom, being able to see the carpet squares in the space prior to selecting, and the installation. The installation was great and professional. A few weeks later we see no seems and no damage to newly painted walls.

We are very pleased with the job this company did for us. Three bedrooms with hardwood floors refinished. The floors turned out better than we expected and are absolutely gorgeous! They were prompt and very professional! Customer service was outstanding!! We highly recommend this company!

Brett is top notch for service and quality. We hired him to refinish our 3/8th inch hardwood floors and replace water damaged flooring and outdated tile with new hardwood. First, he was able and willing to do the job when others weren’t. Second, the job he and his team executed met or exceeded all our expectations (we have high expectations that would be difficult to exceed). Third, all our interactions with him were professional and personable including discussions about scheduling, change orders, job quality, and pricing. In short, when you hire Brett, you are hiring an honest, knowledgeable professional who will deliver a great product/service at the quoted price.
