I needed linoleum replaced in a bathroom and large linen closet. I worked with Lindsey Robbins at USA Flooring and the consultation and ordering process went very smoothly. My flooring has now been installed and it looks better than I had imagined. The installers did a wonderful job. Lindsey came by to check on the installation and was able to see the finished job. I am very pleased.
We chose USA Flooring after less than satisfactory service with other stores in the area. Our experience at USA in Durham exceeded our expectations with careful listening, thoughtful suggestions, and inventory available to take home with us that day. One-stop, large selection, excellent service, affordable!
10/10 recommend USA flooring. Ashley was our project manager and she was absolutely incredible. We had a house flood that required new carpet and floors and she made the entire process stress free. The installation guys were also amazing. They worked very hard and got everything done in a timely manner. Our new floors and carpet look so good. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
We had our entire house redone with laminate flooring from USA flooring. We were really happy with the products we chose and the guidance from Sam on durability, care, and color choice for the products. They were also able to match another quote we received from a different company so the price was great compared to what others were offering. The install process was not as smooth, we currently live in the house so a lot of furniture needed to be moved/worked around. Most of the furniture has some damage now and nothing was covered while sawing/grinding took place, which I didn’t expect, so most furniture needs to be deep cleaned or repaired. A lot of the correct trim pieces or stair nosing were not ordered correctly despite us specifically talking about that with our project manager. We found the communication from USA floors really lacking once we paid our invoice, and had a hard time chasing them down for scheduling, or information on how the install process would take place. We are happy with the end result and the installers did an excellent job laying the flooring, leveling our slab where needed or repairing the subfloor. I wish the communication from USA flooring has been better, I wish we could have understood how the install process would go a bit more, which was in part on us due to lack of experience, however, as a professional flooring company, I feel they could have offered us that guidance. An update 11/9/25: our project is still not complete. Despite getting the subcontractors to come out again finally about 6 weeks later, they were still missing the correct pieces to finish. Since then, we have been not been able to get into contact with them despite calling/texting/emailing over the course of around 6 additional weeks. It’s been 3 months since our project started and we paid up front.
Had the floors installed twice, liked the product and happy with service. The second installation however involved several transition trim pieces that broke off one by one in about 3 month. I filed the claim, called and visited the store several times, every time being assured it will be taken care of ASAP. It’s been almost half a year, with no repairs. It’s a constant trip hazard as the DIY solution fail and the carpet around is broken.Really disappointed. It would be more helpful if they just said no to repairs
