I chose Geary for two different projects: once to replace some wood floorboards in our kitchen after a small flood, and again to make new flooring to match the existing flooring after we added a couple rooms to our house. I highly recommended them. They were able to identify the wood flooring originally used and then find comparable flooring in the same width, and sand and stain it to match. They did a great job on something many other flooring places told me was impossible. They also advised me NOT to refinish my floors again in a certain way and warned me of the possibility of wrecking them due to the depth of the wood (note that many floor guys would just go ahead and refinish them, even if it runs the risk of the wood flooring becoming to thin, buckling with the new color, and having to be replaced).Tad helped me coordinate my project and advised me on what was and wasn't possible. Carlos and Rudlopho did the hard work, installing, sanding, and staining. All three were excellent.So, long story short: if you have wood floors and need to have a part of them repaired or replace, use Geary!
Geary Floors did a great job on our home. They made sure I was happy, and I can be particular. I usually wait a bit to leave reviews to ensure they handle any issues that arise well, and Geary did that as well. We haven’t had any issues but we were so happy we called them back to do another project as well. Very satisfied with the quality of work and attention to detail. Tad, Dominic, Carlos and the entire crew were very helpful. Have recommended them a number of times now. You won’t be disappointed.
We hired Geary Floors to transform our red toned floors that had some damage in different places into a lighter more neutral color as well as to remove the brown carpet from our family room for a consistent more modern look throughout the downstairs of our home. The team (Tad, Bernie, John and Eduardo) were excellent - highly skilled professionals who were respectful in our home, always on time, friendly, and very clean.We are thrilled with the result, and the price was completely reasonable as well. I highly recommend using this team for your floor refinishing needs including if you have a mixed project like we did. Great communication and attention to detail.
Since moving into our current home almost six years ago, we have wanted to remove the old carpeting in the living room/dining room and match existing wood flooring. After extensive research and numerous quotes, we came across Geary Floors. Tad Hall, Estimator and Project Manager, was incredibly responsive and patient throughout the product search and cost evaluations...thankfully always keeping our budget concerns in mind. The installation was expertly performed by one of the hardest working "teams" we have experienced with home construction projects. Billie, John, Dominque, Edwardo and Alex were polite, capable in their trade and respectful when moving our vintage furniture. It was a pleasure learning that many of them had worked with the company for many years and spoke highly of their employer. They were even able to complete our flooring within 1 1/2 days to accommodate our schedule. We highly recommend Geary Floors!
