Shopped for Carpet at many different stores. All were like used car sales. We visited Central Valley Floor Design and were greeted by Collen Hughes. He walked us through the choices and was very informative. We purchased our carpet at a very good price, had them install it and came out beautiful. Cannot say enough about the whole staff at Central Valley floor Design. Do not buy from others without at least stopping by and giving them a chance.

We were very pleased with the service from Central Valley Floor Design when replacing the carpet in our home. The installers were very professional and did an excellent job. We like shopping locally, and this business was within a mile of our house. I would recommend CVFD to family and friends.

Our project was quite challenging and the team from Central Valley Floor Design did and an outstanding job! The project was to replace about 600 sq. ft. of carpet in our family & living rooms with Brazilian Cherry engineered-hardwood flooring to match, as closely as possible, similar existing flooring in my office. We wanted the new flooring to be tight fit and flush with the travertine tile flooring in-between and in hallways. We didn’t want any transition strip or grout to preserve the beauty of the curved sections of the flooring. To make matters more difficult, the travertine flooring was high (~3/4in.) and uneven in height in some places. Ben, our salesperson, was prompt, figured out the issues quickly, and came up with a solution that we felt comfortable with and ended up using with great results. He was clearly the most knowledgeable of the three salespeople we had for estimates. He matched the size and color of the flooring to near perfection. He scheduled us in time for the holidays, ordered the material promptly and made sure that installation started as scheduled! Micheal and his associate installed the hardwood flooring. They were prompt, polite, easy to work with, and did an outstanding job with the curved sections of the flooring (see photos). The two stone fireplace pedestals were cut under and baseboards removed and re-installed as if they were never touched. There was very little dust, everything was cleaned up and furniture put back. We can’t thank them enough for a wonderful install. Thank you guys for an excellent job. Much appreciated and highly recommended.

I had a very tight window to install carpet in the new house before our move. Home Depot had more than a month wait and other places weren't much better. Ben was able to schedule the install on the exact day we wanted and the price was very competitive as well. Derek was our installer and he did an amazing job installing carpet, left us with enough remnants for future repairs and he also fixed a sunken floor by removing the carpet, leveling the base board with the filler and restored the original carpet. The rate for repair was very reasonable as well. Throughout the move, we had to deal with several contractors and the Central Valley Floor Design gave me by far the best experience. Highly recommend them without any reservation.
