I ripped up 25-40 year old carpet to find extremely stained floors underneath. Although they couldn't get all the stains out with just sanding, they worked with me to find a stain color that would hide the deeper spots leftover as a cost effective solution. They were very fast, efficient, and put everything (the doors, door stops, etc...) back when they were finished.

The only issue was some breakdown in communication as the crew who came to finish thought they were still doing another in-between coat which resulted in them having to come back a couple of days later to fix a small spot.
One thing I didn't expect was there to be handprints (from the stain they used) on door frames, windows, walls, doors, and more. Not their fault, JUST WAIT TO PAINT THE TRIM/DOORS ESPECIALLY UNTIL AFTER THE FLOORS ARE DONE!

I would DEFINITELY recommend Express Wood to anyone looking to get their hardwood floors refinished!
