Some feedback highlights successful replacements and fixes on past jobs, while a few negative experiences note issues with luxury vinyl lifting and communication during follow-up visits. Overall sentiment trends positive on showroom guidance and workmanship, with mixed notes on post-installation resolution speed.
I haven’t used this company in a few years however my experience was awful. I used Karen’s for my carpet and LVP in the kitchen. The carpet is fine and has held up super well but the LVP almost immediately started lifting. They sent the same guys out to fix it, they “fixed it” (one of them asked for my number which was uncomfortable) and left. A little while later I had the same issue so they sent someone else out. I stated that my floor might be uneven and that’s why it’s lifting and they explained they thought I was right and that they should have fixed that the first time. At this point the owner told me I should pay for the cost of leveling the floors and they would redo the LVP for free, I agreed because I know that they were losing money and felt bad. Not even a year after this it started lifting in the same spot AGAIN. I lost out on sooooo much money, time and stress and still have to end up fixing it myself! I could never recommend this company for flooring. As far as ordering flooring to do yourself I’m sure if you have a huge bulk order it may be worth it but I called about ordering Chesapeake oak flooring from Cortec and they wanted $250 for 2 boxes, I ended up going to Home Depot and getting 3 boxes of life proof flooring for like $150. Total scam. Don’t waste your time or money just go to Home Depot and do it yourself. YouTube is free and flooring is easy.I’m pretty sure they came out to “fix” my flooring another time in between but I had to have my aunt watch my house because I was at work so I don’t 100% remember. Also they installed transition strips but because my flooring isn’t level (some rooms are higher than others) they ended up breaking the LVP in another room in my housePicks of lifting and transition strip
Hey Kevin just a quick post to say thank you. Even though the floor was out of warranty you stepped up and found a couple boxes of the flooring that had been discontinued, and had DON AND HIS HELPER replace the flooring that was bad. They were great, quick professional, good guys. Just another way to show you care about your customers. THANKS AGAIN
Joe Clark is a wonderful salesman. He listened to all our wants and concerns and sold us a product that exceeded our expectations and gave us a great deal as well. Our installer Ryan was just as wonderful, his work ethic is top notch, and very prompt and friendly. He answered all our questions happily.
Tony in sales was a pleasure to work with. David and Stacy do outstanding tile work. I apologize I don’t remember the young man’s name that installed the carpet. It turned out really good as well. We have used Karen’s carpet at a previous house and will definitely be using them for all of our flooring needs in the future as well.
I bought flooring for my familyroom and put in wooden stairs in my stairway with carpet rectangles and corner shaped carpet. Joe Clark had really great bonder and installers team. They even borded a donated carpet for the basement. Kare's Carpet is the best.
