What an easy experience. Staff was very helpful. I essentially had a dedicated manager take me around the store to get everything I needed. They even insisted on helping me to the car.
Several things went completely right, however my complaint is regarding one of the cashiers who tendered our transaction today. Several very rude and demeaning remarks towards me right in front of her supervisor who did nothing. Their internet was in and out which i completely understand but instead of noting that they blamed me for “writing down the wrong item number” which was in fact correct and when they realized that they never apologized for their mistake and instead continued to be rude. I love the atmosphere of this place and the pricing as well and every other employee being very capable and helpful, but it was a sad and sour end to our trip there today. I believe the cashier’s name was Ryn.
They sold me their NuCore flooring for my brand new home we built. Not even a year later and 5 boards are cracked that need to be replaced. These floors were more expensive than other brands and they are terrible. They are so brittle and poorly made. They crack when you walk on them. Do not recommend these floors at all nor these salesmen.
My client and I had a tile emergency a few weeks ago when we realized the old tile he had in storage was not going to be enough for the job that was starting the very next morning. We would need to select and purchase a whole new tile by the morning. So at 7pm, we headed to the Brentwood Floor & Decor with the intention of buying tile, grout, and shluter before they closed at 8:00. Well, it worked like a charm thanks to the great assistance we got from Christian. Christian pointed us to the right aisle and gave us his thoughts as we looked at options, including educating us on the difference between ceramic and porcelain tile. Then he helped determine the quantity needed, load the boxes onto the cart, pick out grout and shluter, and then transfer the boxes to the client's car. (Thanks to Nolan, too, for helping Christian load the car.) We were able to resolve this last minute problem in only 20 minutes with the help of Christian. Props to Floor & Decor and to your great staff! Thank you! (And, btw, the tile looks great!)
