I would put zero rating. But I was denied that option. I went to see someone about getting kitchen doors custom made. I went in September 2025. Two months before my son was born. After 3 months I called several times with no answer or call back as requested. When I finally got through to someone after 4 months, I was asked to give the dimensions and it would be looked at. This was a month ago. I have emailed three times since with no answer. A total of 5 months waiting for someone to get back to me about kitchen doors. My son will probably be graduating college before I hear anything. Absolute absurd, apparently you don’t want my business.
I was looking for a reliable source to purchase products for my upcoming projects however, after reading all the negative reviews I will continue searching for a reliable and reputable supplier. Thanks for the reviews!
Totally disgusted with cashier and supervisor. I was I there this week to buy some cleaning products and the cashier had little interest in me, and more talking gossip about an employee to what seemed like a supervisor. It was clear they have little regard for customer service, and on top of that have little empathy for the employee they were openly gossiping about. This is not the first time this has happened at this store, all in hear shot of customers. I am not coming back, and will be emailing head office. Home Depot just got a new customer.
I ordered a pallet of wood expecting it to arrive as described: on a pallet and wrapped. Instead, the driver dropped all the lumber loose across my driveway. Pallet on the side and the entire order was scattered on the other.When I called, I was told this is “just how they do it” because they don’t want to pay for a boom truck. I was also told nothing could be done and that it was supposedly my responsibility to specify that I wanted the load unloaded neatly—something any customer would reasonably expect without having to ask.There was no solution no accountability. I have photos documenting the condition of the delivery. Posting this so others know what to expect before ordering.Product itself is fair quality. Jeremy (South Side) at the contractor desk was a pleasure to talk to but obviously this is an internal issue at Kent. Likely with Management or Policy that ruins customer relations and loses personal connection. Get a boom on your delivery truck!! Spend the money for your customers KENT because they spend their hard earned money on your product.
Absolutely worst home improvement chain. Can't mix paint 0/5 in getting the color I select. Doesn't restock the store and certain empty shelves persist for months. Staff is not knowledgeable and not trained to solve customer issues presented by poor store operation. Wood is stored outside and area humidity means wood has to be dried before use often. Chain needs a procedure reset.
