We recently built a new home and purchased approximately $40,000 worth of tile and wood flooring from Ritchie’s Carpet Warehouse. The ordering process went smoothly.
During the job, the installation plan changed and part of the design was switched to concrete. As a result, a portion of the tile ordered for the project was no longer needed, it was not leftover material. The amount we asked about returning was roughly $1,000 worth.
We contacted our sales representative, John, to see if that portion could be taken back. He said he would call us, but we never received a follow-up. Instead, the message was passed through delivery drivers during another drop-off, and they declined to take it back, saying it was “too much of a headache.”
After spending that level of money with the company, we expected better communication and support.
