Beautiful showroom, very pleasant experience
We recently purchased our tiles from Mirrella Tile in Irving, and the experience was outstanding. Today, we visited their Grand Prairie location to pick up our tiles, and once again, we were impressed by their amazing showroom. The staff were incredibly friendly and assisted us with loading, making the process seamless. We wholeheartedly recommend Mirrella Tile to anyone in search of exceptional service and quality products.
Fantastic tile & even better service! This was the only place where I could find 24"x48" wood-look ribbon tile in colors other than maple, and it was a lucky find on so many levels. The quality is excellent: we did not encounter any defects, damage or warpage. It cut cleanly and easily with a cheap tile saw (unlike big-name tile that kept chipping). The price was great: it was comparable or less per square foot than local or online retail stores, and they offer volume pricing for larger orders. Bonus points for having free, efficient and easy-to-find local pickup in Grand Prairie. They also deliver for a very reasonable fee, but I live nearby and placed a relatively small order. Extra bonus points for having the tile I wanted in stock and immediately available. I received an online quote very quickly and could pick up the tile as soon as they received payment, which could also be done online. In contrast, the big-name tile previously mentioned was a hassle: I went to the showroom and discovered they don't sell to the public. I ordered the tile online from a store in a different state and then waited for them to ship it to a local warehouse for pickup, which took over a week. Maybe there was a more efficient way, but the showroom employees were too busy to help and I didn't have time to wait. In contrast, the Mirrella Tile service was extremely friendly, efficient & attentive. Despite placing a small order and showing up in work clothes, I was treated as if I had placed a large, expensive order. Unlike, the big-name tile showroom, which required my contact information for a sample but was too busy to help me, Mirrella Tile freely gave me samples without any pressure whatsoever. Extra, extra bonus points for allowing me to return unused boxes of tile. Buying from here was such a great experience: the people are so warm and inviting that I didn't feel like a number and a commission with them, unlike those other places. Looking forward to their new showroom in Irving because it's closer to me. :)
First, their tile is beautiful. The reason that I’m writing this review is for their customer service. As can happen, we had some tiles damaged in shipment. Fortunately, I’m not commenting on their Jacksonville FL carrier which misguided me on the acceptance and return process (always check at moment of delivery and deny shipment when breakage is observed during inspection). Mirella on the other hand is exemplary in the way they handled the returns, promptly responding and replacing the broken pieces (despite the weak link of the carrier). Thank you to Riza and Mark Goedde with Mirella who operate their business with class and credibility.
