I had tried 2 other places in town (in which I was not happy with the communication and extensive installation wait times) before finding Modern. From the beginning Stacy was great to deal with, always keeping in constant communication and assisting with ideas. Josh did an amazing job with installation and was very pleasant to deal with. From start to finish an overall great experience!
Very friendly and helpful staff, I came in with little information on what I needed and they helped me find the tile I needed and suggested adhesive and the proper tool for spreading it.
“Very poor customer service”Purchased flooring in 2022 for a rental property and the install was poor from day one. While cleaning the floor after final paint we noticed patches in the Lino and contacted the sales team at Modern. They did a site visit and acknowledged the poor install. They reorder the floor and did a reinstall however the installer still had patches. They offered a discount for the lino and assured me the repairs would not deteriorate, however this did not happen. I should never have accepted the discount. It has been lifting since approx 2 month after the install date. We also had vinyl plank supplied and installed throughout living area and bedrooms and it is separating in multiple places (not due to water)I have called the store several times over the past 2 years and contacted the manager with no resolution. Personally I believe you should get a little more longevity from professionally installed lino and vinyl plank.
More selection than all of the GP flooring store combined AND competitive prices!Becky was exceptionally helpful. She took the time to really look at my inspiration photo. She expertly pulled samples from their huge selection and used my feedback to zone in on the perfect flooring.I'll be back for my next Reno project and I'll be enthusiastically telling my friends to go straight to Carpet One.
