A couple of years ago moisture from an air conditioning system during a very hot and humid summer caused a majority of our floor boards to buckle before we realized the source. We contacted Specialty Flooring and instead of telling us we would need to replace all the flooring in our house, they advised us to wait. They said after addressing the problem source, there was a good chance the floors would lay back down.
Most of the boards did. We recently had S F replace a few boards and refinish the entire downstairs. Beautiful job!! Honest, dependable, professional and will not leave a job unless the customer is 100% satisfied!

Likely you’ve read the impressive reviews of Specialty Flooring and the quality floors they’ve installed. My experience was similar; however, mine was a tiled shower enclosure. My wife and I picked out tiles from another source. After that supplier unexpectedly raised their material price by $3.00 sq ft, we decided to look at other suppliers. When we stopped by Specialty Flooring, April, our sales person, was able to find a very similar (and slightly nicer) tile which was approximately half the price. I was impressed that April was very conversant on tile installation and offered suggestions about materials, shower curb options, edging material options, etc. When I asked when she could do measurements, she agreed to come out at 10AM the next day (the other supplier was scheduling measurements three weeks out.)
My wife and I were ready to proceed with Specialty Flooring, and I did my due diligence by reading reviews. Likely you agree they’re stellar; however, most or all were about flooring jobs while we had a shower tile job. I asked April how I could gain comfort with assessing their abilities to perform our tile job. After she sent me pictures of previous work that their proposed installer had done, I was comfortable that they knew what they were doing.
April was our sales person, Danny was our project manager, and Richard and his brother were our installers. Danny came to our house every morning and every afternoon to discuss the plan for the day and to review the work performed and discuss any issues. Richard was punctual every day and is an accomplished tile installer. I asked him numerous questions, and he clearly demonstrated competence and mastery. Our shower installation was perfect. He was able to structure the soap/shampoo box/niche so it aligned with the top of the row of tile right below it. I don’t know how he could plan his work so precisely (especially with 1/16th inch grout lines), but he did. I am a perfectionist, and pleasing me when it comes to home renovation is pretty hard to do. My wife and I are very pleased with the final result.
Reading the numerous reviews about the integrity of Specialty Flooring’s owners and personnel was very helpful in making our decision. They proved to be the real deal. Not only do they do great floors, from my experience, they also do great tile work and are very easy to work with.

Project Manager visited before the instillation started.
The flooring instillation crew was friendly, polite, tidy, responsive and stellar with the flooring install. The project was completed with a magnificent result! The crew fastidious when done!
I rarely offer high praise however; Specialty Flooring exceeded my vision & I with highest recommendation shall require their skilled employees again!
