We recently had waterproof laminate flooring installed by Rafi from My Flooring Guy, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He was professional and efficient. The floors look amazing. It’s exactly what we envisioned! Rafi was also really easy to communicate with and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality work and a stress-free experience!
We contacted My Flooring guy to demo and replace our flooring and baseboards. We went to their showroom to pick out flooring and baseboards, they seemed like a professional and reputable company. Their team of workers started and finished the demo in under a week. Upon ripping out our old flooring, we were told that we needed to level the entire floor, which cost us an extra $3,000.The quality of work done was not that of a creditable company. The baseboards were botched in many areas, which they had to come attempt to fix 3 times. The floors were also not level, which we found in many places throughout. The worst part was when we found a big dent in our family room large TV. In addition to this, there are dents in our walls and our kitchen cabinets from clumsy work, making thousands of dollars worth of damage.We contacted Rafi, the owner of My Flooring guy to make him aware of the damages. He did not want to take ownership of the damage, but we had been out of state when the work was being done and My Flooring guys workers were the only ones in our home during that time. I went back and forth with Rafi to have the damages repaired or compensated. He gave us $100 for the damage to the TV, a $600 tv. He dismissed the damages to our walls and cabinets and said they can come to rip out the floors to relevel them.I wish I could give My flooring guy 5 stars but their work was far from that of a reputable company. The fact that the owner did not want to take ownership or compensate fully for all the damages really makes this company less than 1 star.
A recap of my entire experience with My Flooring Guy:Guy came out in a timely manner to take measurements of our floor space and provided a quote within 24 hours. 1350 square feet of floors with 6 stairs and some concrete leveling came to about $5650. That is for installation only, which is a fair price for a licensed installer with excellent reviews.My job took 4 days to install. Raymond the installer did the whole thing by himself which was very impressive. He was always on time and cleaned up after himself. I was most impressed with how clean the flooring looked when he was done. Everything was right and seamless. The stairs looked especially phenomenal.The office staff is friendly, easy to get a hold of, and very knowledgeable. No communication barriers whatsoever.Overall, I’ll give them a 5/5. I couldn’t have really expected more. This is a great company to work with. I’ve already referred them to a couple of people. Thanks Guy!!!
