As a first time home renovator, I have had a LOT to learn! Coby was not only friendly and patient, but he also treated me with respect. He helped guide us through finding a specific tile we were looking for and gave us the pros/cons of each option. Highly recommend!
When building my house i was told by my builder that we had to go through them. At first they seemed very professional but that changed very very quickly. I also want to state that my experience was with only one of the reps Coby. We picked everything out and waited for a quote which took really long when he knew we were on a deadline and then when i received the quote it was much higher than anticipated, granted i did pick a mix of high end tiles but he knew what the budget was. I was totally ok with spending a couple extra thousand but not when i didn't know what i was getting. Not only that but the tiles he picked with us wouldn't work anyway because they are not tiles designed for showers so they would not pass code. I would email asking a questions and it would take 2 weeks to get a response and it held up everything. In the quote there was about 20% tile and labor due to overage on tile which i understand to a point but 20% seems way overboard. Fast forward 1.5 months of dealing with them after we had it all figured out and then he says that he is not making enough money on my job so he is not doing it. I was furious that he wasted so much of our time. My builder still bought the tiles from him and had someone else install since we were so behind now. This is not a review of the work they do because im sure it good but this was by far the worst experience i have ever had and i have dealt with a lot building a house. People say its hard and it was but this was a whole new level of incompetence or better yet complete lack of caring about the customer. The kicker to it all was since there was so much tile left i wanted to get my money back since that's what i was told. He had no issue picking up about 15 boxes of tile but i only somehow got a refund for about 25% of what he took which means he charged me for all the tile and im sure will charge someone else for it again. Did i say it was a horrible experience?
