I recently had a floor put in by Jerry Uhl an installer from FloorTraders he did an absolutely terrible job took all the shortcuts he could and was very unprofessional very argumentative and would rarely work more than four hours a day I would not recommend him or floor traders to anyone. The quality of workmanship was absolutely horrific.

Love this store, its materials, and the owner :) Just purchased a new laminate by Mannington. The floor is Beautiful. Rob did an excellent job in helping us pick out the flooring and his expertise and advice were incredibly helpful. The flooring came quickly and the installer was Amazing! I love this new floor! We replaced it in our living room, dining room, and hallway I would Definitely recommend Rob and team for all your flooring needs!!

The floor trader is the only place I go for flooring. Rob and his crew are friendly and knowledgeable. Always have great selections to choose from.
Worth the drive every time. I recently purchased new flooring for my living area and a bathroom and they are beautiful.

Purchased flooring from Floor Traders, our bad experience started at the register when the manager pushed one of the employees off the register to ring up our purchase, which was a little uncomfortable of a situation. Floor Traders recommended an installer they had used in the past which was a team of a couple installers since we were needing furniture moved. The installer complained about having to move furniture which I paid them $450 to do. The installer also drove there work van into my yard and when my wife asked them not do that they became unhinged and responded in a threatening matter towards my wife. I called him to see what was going on and he told me if I had a problem with him I knew where he was and acted like I needed to come fight him, smh. He then started accusing me that I was trying not to pay him. I totally do not know why any of those comments or accusations were necessary. I had all intentions of paying him and never indicated anything else. When I told him I was coming home and I would write him a check, he immediately cornered my wife and demanded a check and got out of my house within the 10 minutes it took me to get home.

When the installer wanted to take a shortcut he made comments such as "Can I cover this drain, don't worry it has not been in use for years" or "this vent cover don't fit because I cut the hole too small, you will have to buy a custom size register vent". I let him cover the drain as I took his word as the installation professional that it was no longer in use and it would not cause any issue. The drain has become a major issue as it is still currently active and due to a sewer line issue I have water backing up underneath my new flooring two years later.

On top of all this they installed the wrong carpeting throughout the whole house. They did offer to tear it all out and reinstall new carpet but I live in a home built on a slab and I was moving my belongings from one area to the next so the installation could be completed. I didn't have the time to keep moving my belongings.

I have spoke with the manager/owner Rob at Floor Traders and he keeps saying that he did not cause my sewer line issue. I have explained to him multiple times that while you didn't cause the sewer issue the installer you recommended covered a floor drain causing me a lot of headache. This is my first home and I have never experienced anything like this. They have given poor guidance on how to handle this issue and never mentioned that I needed to call my homeowners insurance. I was told I needed a reality check as none of this was any of their fault because they asked me if they could cover the drain. They are the professionals and should not be asking customers to do stuff like that when they are well aware of consequences. I have never been treated so rude or distasteful. He has no care that they ruined the flooring I had purchased from them and has offered no apology for any of the bad experience.
Most recently they agreed to uncover the drain and lay new flooring to fix the issue. They sent the same installer back to cut out the flooring from my utility room where the drain is located to "help me" fix the problem. Once they tore the flooring out and realized how much damaged they caused they changed there stance and said it was all my fault.

I have since fixed the sewer line issue and tearing up the floor to let it dry out is a good idea. Only issue is, I can not get cooperation from Floor Traders and they continuely change there stance as they make this whole experience worse and worse.

I would never recommend this company to anyone and can't believe how they treat customers. The only apology I have recieved from Floor Traders is for the unhinged installers behavior and manager said they have had this issue with him before.

I’m so glad I stopped in here! I go to Home Depot on a regular basis, slowly remodeling our home and have just not been able to find what I was looking for there or your other typical large stores. I spoke with Dan and he was a great help and found exactly what I was looking for. Will be double checking our measurements and ordering tomorrow. The prices were also awesome! We are spending a few hundred less than what we expected. I will be installing myself, but the price they gave for them to install were great! Will be a return customer when we remodel our basement, in the fall.
