I am so deeply thankful to Joe and the entire team at Standard Tile for everything: for their sage advice, for the sheer variety of tile available on display, and for honoring delivery times. As a frequent customer, I always feel like they are a people-centered business, because they patiently listen to me explain the project I want to accomplish and then offer options within my budget and vision. Once, they called me that my order was ready, and upon hearing that I was planning to walk or call an Uber, they just offered to deliver. And they delivered within 10 minutes! Another time, they replaced a box of tile that was broken upon delivery within hours.As a woman doing construction, I also frequently encounter condescension and sexism frequently in the industry. There was none of that at Standard Tile – just respect, kindness, and shared humanity.I am really thankful for this local store and hope that it will continue to exist near me for generations to come. I won't be shopping for tiles anywhere else except Standard Tile.

I COULDN'T SAY ENOUGH NICE THINGS ABOUT STANDARD TILE....PARTICULARLY JOE BIRO. JOE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE WAS PATIENT - TOOK THE TIME TO ANSWER ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. MOST IMPORTANTLY, HE EXPLAINED THE "WHY OR WHY NOTS" BEHIND HIS ANSWERS. HE EVEN MADE SURE WE DIDN'T BUY OR DO ANYTHING THAT WASN'T TRULY NECESSARY.WE DID THE FLOORS IN A LARGE ENTRY AND HALL, A FAIRLY LARGE KITCHEN AND A POWDER ROOM.A RARE THING WHEN EVERYTHING FIT TOGETHER - AND CAME OUT EXACTLY AS PLANNED.LARRY SELTZER
Highly recommend!Joe has been fantastic all the way, from being very helpful in helping us chose the tiles for our bathroom renovation, to following up on delivery and everything else we needed. Delivery was always quick, on time, and materials exactly as ordered in quality and quantity.But you only know how good is a place when you need help and when we discovered a production issue with some tiles, Joe didn't blink, made us chose new ones (more expensive, btw) and exchanged the defective ones no questions asked. He rushed the order and the day after we received our new tiles.We will definitely go back anytime we need tiles or other materials!
