It doesn’t take long to know who you are dealing with when you visit their flooring showroom. I get to see many businesses from behind the scenes as a photographer and I can tell you that this is a very honest and highly reputable company, through and through. Okanagan Hardwood Flooring is the first company that I think of when anyone asks me who I would recommend for carpet, tile, and hardwood flooring.
Well done Okanagan Hardwood and Tile. What really impressed us was that they took control and managed the whole seven-week project - from arranging the removal of 1800 sq ft of existing porcelain tile and carpet to the supply and installation of new oak hardwood. This involved managing all the sub-contractors (primarily Winmar) to pack, move and store our furniture and possessions, tent the rooms in poly to prevent dust, remove and refit a glass staircase, refit and paint all new baseboard, clean and paint walls where necessary and move and place our furniture and possessions, including books and wall art. They were the only flooring company we could find in Kelowna with the skills to manage this complex project. Congratulations to Otto, Heather, Greg, Pat, Andy, Chuck, Phil, Andreas, Bob and the rest of the team at Okanagan Hardwood, and the team at Winmar, for a job well done.
After years of dreaming of renovating and installing site finished hardwood floors, we finally had it completed, the floors turned out so beautiful. We had 1100 sq ft of fir flooring refinished, and it turned out awesomeOf the 3 companies we got quotes from, we felt they were the most knowledgeable, with Bona factory trained finishers,and was the only company that suggested matching recessed heat vents that we wanted.Nick was so hard-working. They fit our schedule and threw in extras, like commercial grade coatings, floor care kits and great advice.
We had a wonderful experience using Okanagan Hardwood Flooring. They supplied and installed all of our wood floors. In addition, their tile setter did a fabulous job in our kitchen, laundry, entry hall and bathrooms. Would highly recommend this company!
