Low grade. The description says: “Home Improvement” but, by whoever we were graced by only person there (on a weekday) said they only do New home installations. Now I’m sure it’s “safe and a little easier less risk I guess. I,m sure labor is cheap (not). Unfortunately the attitude has not changed in Killeen area (We don’t have what you need / or want but, we can surely sell you what you don’t want (‘caus where else you going to go… Lol, we went Lowes and got exactly what our needs were and the best customer service. Floor House,.. better hope new homes development continues in Killeen area and keeps your so called Description business afloat. ????. As for me, my dollars ?? will not go your way.
I saw one of their vans while I was driving so I thought I’d give them a call since I need a couple rooms re-floored. The lady on the phone was extremely rude, answered nonchalantly, and then hung up when she realized I wasn’t a customer that they actually wanted. Not helpful at all, apparently they don’t do installation or any kind of retail. Which I didn’t know only seeing the logo on a van. Extremely rude on the phone, would not recommend!
The builder of my home choose House of Floors to provide the flooring and contract the installers for my new home nine years ago. The tiling is my favorite part of this home, and it has all stood up to time very well. I haven't had any issues the almost decade we've been using it. And it's so beautiful! We've gotten many compliments. I recently contacted House of Floors to ask some questions about it, and the couple people I spoke with were so friendly and willing to answer my questions. Would definitely recommend them. Thank you!!
The builder I used contracted with this company. There were lots of pin holes in the grout after only a few months. I had them come out on multiple occasions to fix the holes. The last time they came out, instead of repairing pinholes with grout, they used caulking. So, as I steam cleaned my floors, I noticed lighter areas in the grout. Closer inspection showed the caulking flaking. They used this caulking to not only repair pin holes but also dime sized holes the occurred because of said pin holes. See picture for reference. The darker wet areas is grout and the lighter areas is caulking.
After a bad experience at another place, this place was like a breath of fresh air. We were having a house custom built and were sent here by our builder to pick out our flooring. I can't remember the name of the lady that helped us, but she was great! She had the plans to our house, she had an actual selection sheet that she wrote every selection we made and we were able to have a copy for our records. They had a nice amount of selections with lots of color choices. The lady that helped us was very knowledgeable and totally understood the look I wanted and even had the perfect paint color . I would absolutely use them again. I am so glad that the first place did not work out, because the selections here were so much better.
