After our experience with the carpet installers sent by Carpet One, I do not recommend them for carpet replacements. The installers did a few things that I found unacceptable:1. From the time they arrived to the time they left, they argued constantly about the install and who was in charge of what. The arguments were intense and made my family uncomfortable as we waited in other rooms.2. When they moved in the new carpet they dropped it from shoulder height and it shook the entire house. I even went in the crawlspace to check the floor joists after they left.3. They swore constantly. They swore about the dust, about how hard it was, and about each other. Again, it made my family extremely uncomfortable.4. They smoked in the yard and brought in the smell.5. Before leaving, one of them spit in our kitchen sync. All of these things made my family incredibly uncomfortable. I found it impossible to work while they were in the house because I was concerned about my family and my floor joists. I had to clean my kitchen sync when they left, which is a non-sensical thing to do after a carpet install. On the workmanship- the carpet is installed and is holding up so far. They did not vacuum after removing the old carpet, and they did not vacuum after installing the new one, but I don't feel any lumps so far.In general, I'm sure they are fine for new builds. But I will not let them back in my home.
Had a fantastic experience shopping here! We were able to take home several carpet samples over the course of a week, which really helped us make the right choice. Once we made our decision, they promptly sent someone out to measure our home and provided a clear, detailed quote. The carpet was installed about a month later. While the installation was subcontracted, the crew did an exceptional job—flawless work! We couldn't be happier with the final result
Excellent work! Kurt was wonderfully patient with me during repeated shopping. Dan did a masterful job installing, moved fridge & stove alone, & cleaned up after. I am happy! Carpet One is the one to go to!
Kurt took great care of us! When we were scheduled for an estimate, the staff person showed up on time. The communication was excellent including a day before call reminder. The installation was done professionally and promptly. Very happy with their service and follow through!
Pretty disappointed with my experience here. I ordered some white matte 3x6 ceramic tile. Basic. The salesman warned me it could take longer than he quoted to get in due to shipping delays, which I understood. But, he didn't bother to call me and let me know when that expected arrival date was. I had to call them. On the expected delivery date, I didn't hear from the store. I called the next business day and it wasn't in. They then had to track it down, which took another full day. Prompting me to push back the install date. It did arrive 2 business days after the original scheduled date, but the finish was wrong. Shame on me for not double checking I'd gotten the correct finish when I picked it up. By the time I had went to check on the install process and realized they had ordered the wrong product, an entire wall was already in. I couldn't back out at that point, at least I didn't feel like I wanted to pay to have my contractor rip everything out, and pay the additional cost for the correct materials (bc I couldn't return the wrong order) and push back the timeline again. I would've given this 1-star, but I realize I had some fault in this.Double check your order form and double check your tile upon delivery!
