Mathis Flooring

We had our whole house redone. The quality of the flooring is really nice and we're very happy with it. The workers were timely and respected our boundaries in the home (I'm at stay at home mom with an infant who is nursing). There was some confusion between the workers and the office staff about whether they were starting carpet vs orher flooring first. We didn't get a call confirming the day/time so we weren't sure when everyone was showing up to start the job. The cleanup afterward was subpar and they used my vacuum after carpet install instead of supplying their own shopvac.

The flooring was done well and the people were pleasant but, finish work and cleaning their work site was done poorly. Had to call back to correct the finish work. They corrected some but certain areas need some attention and I will have to have someone else fix some finishing work. Hard to find good workers these days.

Best flooring experts in the Lexington area! Start to finish this was so much easier than expected! Sarah came to do two measures, way out of her way before he day even started (oops on scheduling the first time to get in the house pre-move in day), provided samples and got me exactly what we wanted, hustled to arrange installation before our movers arrived, and was lovely and professional throughout the entire process. The installers did a gorgeous job, were polite and considerate, and worked long days to get the job done in time for the movers arrival.

I needed to carpet a whole house, and Mathis Flooring made it easy for me. In fact, I never even visited their store. I called and made an appointment to have the house measured, and the owner completed the measurements quickly, spoke with me for a few minutes about the type of carpet I'm interested in, and promised a price quote later that day. A few hours later I received the price quote, which was very competitive, and the owner dropped off samples to choose from the next day. I chose a carpet, set up the install via email, and the installers showed up exactly when they said they would and did a great job. I was charged exactly what I had agreed to, the house was left clean, and the carpet is nicer than expected for the price. It's not easy to find companies that do what they say they're going to do. Mathis provides amazing service and good pricing, and they're easy to work with throughout the process. I won't hesitate to call them again the next time I need flooring.

Mathis has been great to work with as a new homeowner. They are very knowledgable and they stand by their work. My wife and I have two custom-cut area carpets from them and recently had them carpet our stairs. They did a great job and were very reasonable. I would use them again for any carpeting or flooring.
