We have worked with Karyn Pheiffer and Sam Kinnaird’s three times - twice for carpeting and once for engineered hardwood flooring. Karyn has done an outstanding job every time we’ve needed her. She recently coordinated every detail of our engineered hardwood flooring project that turned out perfect. Her knowledge and expertise was invaluable and helped simplify our decision process. Best of all, she is great to work with.
We have had a horrible experience with Kinnard Flooring when they installed engineered hardwood floors in June. After the installers left and we started cleaning the floors and putting the furniture back we noticed what appears to be defects in the floor. We contacted them to let them know right away about the flooring. The first problem is that the two sample boards they sent home for us to look at, does not accurately reflect the floors at all, as they had no black spots whatsoever. The 2nd issue is that the installer did a horrible job and has since been let go because his last 3 installs went bad, as he was letting his son do the installs. We have multiple spacing issues, nails popping up in the floor and loose boards. We also have boards that look like someone took a black magic marker and drew on the floors, and spots where it looks like a small animal stepped in paint and walked on the floors. We also have odd shapes where they were supposedly filling knot holes and I'm assuming drug paint across the boards. Fast forward 4 months and many installers/ warranty folks they've sent out. We have been dealing with them since June and they are refusing to make this right. They have agreed to replace 25 -30 boards, (but it's more like 80 -100) that have issues. Issue number 3 is that want to cut the boards out where they are and insert a new board, when every person they've sent out has said they can't cut out that many boards and make it look right. They are staying now that they can't please me because I won't let them cut out the boards, when all I'm asking is for them to do it right and pull them out from the walls. The first picture is what I was given as sample boards and the rest is what I received.
We chose Kinnaird's Flooring to do our basement floors because of their reputable history in our area and we were not disappointed. Our salesperson, Nathan, was very knowledgeable and walked us through the whole process. We chose Coretec LVP in the color Midway and couldn't be happier with the product and color. The project was installed quickly by a great crew that communicated arrival times well and were experienced with the product.
I recently had LVP flooring installed in my master bedroom and closet, and the whole experience with Sam Kinnaird’s Flooring was smooth and well done. Nathan came to the house, did all the measurements and made sure the flooring installation was scheduled quickly. The installation team did a beautiful job, finishing quickly with minimal interruption to my day. They did a great job. If you’re looking for a great flooring company that delivers excellent service and high-quality products, I highly recommend Nathan and the team at Sam Kinnaird’s Flooring.
We had Sam Kinnaird’s Flooring install commercial luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring for our new Revive Salon and Spa in New Albany, and the experience was outstanding. Nathan, our sales representative, helped us choose the perfect waterproof, scratch-resistant LVP that fits our salon’s style and can handle the heavy foot traffic of a busy health and beauty business.Since our general contractor was working on a tight construction schedule, staying on track was a top priority. Nathan made sure the flooring was ordered, delivered, and installed right on time—keeping us on schedule for Revive Salon and Spa’s grand opening. His coordination with the contractor and excellent communication made the process completely stress-free.The installation crew worked efficiently and delivered a flawless final product. If you’re looking for hair salon flooring installation or commercial LVP flooring in New Albany or Louisville, I highly recommend Sam Kinnaird’s Flooring and Nathan for their expertise, reliability, and beautiful results.
