Sergenian's Floor Coverings - Residential Showroom

We hired Sergenian's for a project to expand our existing hardwood floors out into our living room, entryway, and dinette. Their pricing for our job was on par with competitors. Their workmanship was really good. But where Sergenian's made a big difference for us was customer education and communication. We're very happy with our decision and very happy with the beautiful results. We hemmed and hawed for a couple years (yes, years) trying to decide what to do with our aging floors (carpet, vinyl and laminate). For naturally indecisive people facing a project that will be expensive no matter what, "the customer is always right" isn't a helpful sales posture. Another flooring company that we were going to work with wasn't pushy at all, which we definitely appreciated, but they also weren't helping us make decisions to move forward. Wesley and Russ at Sergenian's helped us stop spinning our wheels. They were never pushy, but they did help us understand the various consequences, pros and cons, of the many little decisions that comprise a flooring project. They asked us questions about our priorities. We never felt bad for asking questions... and more questions... (I had a lot of questions). Relatively quickly, we developed comfort and rapport with Sergenian's, and felt good about committing to the project with them. Specifically we decided on a site-finished installation of 2.25" southern red oak — they helped us match the species to our existing wood beautifully. The crew did great work. Flooring projects are naturally loud, messy, and smelly at times. They did their very best to minimize the inconveniences. And just like Wesley and Russ, they indulged my many questions, too. We originally intended to match the amber tint of our older wood floors, but once we saw the planks installed and sanded, we were smitten and chose a lighter more natural tone instead. It was no big deal to the guys who were prepared to go in whatever color direction we wanted to go. Although that week/week-and-a-half was a pretty nuts (our family continued to live in the home during the project), it was very exciting to watch it all come together. It was money well spent with Sergenian's and I know they'll be our first quote when it comes time to refinish our older wood floors to match the new ones.

We met Kevin at Sergenian's Flooring and we ended up being very happy customers. We had our own installers (LET KEVIN AND HIS TEAM INSTALL THE FLOORS) and I wish we would have had Kevin and his guys do it. Kevin was very helpful in getting our floors as he promised in the time frame he promised even going so far as calling his contacts in the business to assist. Sergenian’s is the best! Wesley (who, as I understand it, is from the Sergenian family) was great in helping us pick out a carpet for our house renovation. They did a great job on the install as well. They are a no-pressure friendly company with good stuff. Chris and Eric came out just today to finalize two carpet-to-flooring interfaces we couldn’t have them finish before, because of our ongoing house renovation. (Check out the curved interface in the accompanying photo!) They got it done quickly, and it looks great. These guys were recommended to us by neighbors, and we’re glad we went with them.

We replaced our carpet with wood in 3 bedrooms and hall on our upper level. We had a great experience from Wesley helping us choose the type of flooring we wanted, to Nick doing measurements and Nate installing. We needed them completed for out of town guests and everything worked out well with scheduling. The floors were done in time for us to move everything back in prior to our guests arriving. Thanks!
