Reviews

What customers say

Customers praise help choosing materials and the finished work; one customer specifically appreciated that the crew cleaned up afterward. Other customers report installation and follow-through problems: an LVT floor's planks bent underfoot, had chipped corners and poor baseboard work, with no owner response; the scheduling complaints include a missed vanity-top measurement after an all-afternoon wait and repeated installation-date changes with calls being dodged. In one delayed flooring job, uninstalled material remained in the customer's family room for a week before pickup, and the refund took several days.

First my wife called and left a message. But no one returned her call. I called them 2 days later and I left a message. Still no one called me back. The third time I called 2 weeks later, did get a live body and set up an appointment for someone to come out to the house and measure for a new vanity top for our guest bathroom for in the afternoon on Tuesday. Well at 5pm after waiting all afternoon I called the office back and the gentleman said that he was sick but had not talked to his worker since noon so he was going to find out what was going on and call me back in a few minutes. I had no problem with this. But no one ever called me back. I don't know what is going on with this company but the staff is lacking the professional work ethics.

Initially, I thought this was going to be a pleasant experience, as the consultation went well. We selected LVT and were happy with the color. Installation started off well enough, but once the floors were done, I could tell the floor hadn't been leveled. You walk on the planks and they BEND underneath your feet - we paid for the floors to be leveled. I emailed Britton several times, and still have yet to receive a response. We have a couple planks that were even installed with corners chipped off (pictured below). In addition (I think because the floors are uneven) the baseboard installation is shoddy at best. Still awaiting response from owner.

Let me start by saying that the customer service I received through this company was phenomenal! Any questions or concerns I had that were answered right away. I wanted to put granite countertops and backsplash and tile in my kitchen, as well as replacing the flooring in my bathroom. They helped me choose the perfect material for my home as well as my budget. The pricing was by far the most reasonable out of four different companies I looked into. I am absolutely amazed with the outcome of my kitchen and bathroom. It was done in a time and professional manner. I would definitely recommend this company to all of my family and friends. We will be doing all of our future business with Mansfield Flooring.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Mansfield Flooring install carpet?

Existing carpet is removed and the subfloor is prepared. Room doors are removed for access to the door sills, then tackless strips, padding and carpet are installed.

How long can Mansfield Flooring's hardwood refinishing take?

It can take upwards of five days, depending on the number of stain coats. Each coat requires a full 24 hours to dry before the next is applied.

How does Mansfield Flooring limit dust during hardwood refinishing?

It uses tools with built-in vacuums to collect dust as it forms and seals the work room in case stray dust becomes airborne.

How does Mansfield Flooring distinguish laminate from LVT in moisture-prone areas?

Laminate has a fibrous base, while LVT is made from PVC. Mansfield Flooring says LVT works better in areas where water may be present.
