Great staff and hardware!
I haven't used this store much, but when I have, they have been helpful. The first time I went in the guy at the counter took me to their trim so see if anything would work for me. Its nice when someone goes out of there way to help with a job that you have to be a little creative with. The other times I have been in there, its been pretty standard, but that works for me.
We had positive experiences with 41 lumber for our lumber purchase and decided to purchase a sliding glass door and window through them as we wanted to support local. The experience for windows has been atrocious. We ordered the items in July of 2024 and were sent a quote (which was incorrect). We called to correct it and assumed all was good. We were told they would be delivered in August. Which was then extended to early September and then the end of September. All of these communications were on our end to reach out to the business to find out what the status was. Not once did they reach out to us for an update. When we would call they would state “You aren’t going to like this news”. They finally delivered at the end of September and told us that someone had to be home so my husband took off of work. It was the wrong door and the wrong window size. They did expedite and ordered from Pella but offered no discount for their mistake. Now, the door and window are supposed to be delivered today but can offer no insight as to whether that is actually happening today because Pella is delivering it. You would think they would have had some sort of communication with a Pella rep or an order status to be able to communicate with us to coordinate someone being home. That said, my husband is now home another day off of work to wait for a door we do not know if it’s actually coming today.The lack of communication and common customer service attributes are clearly missing from this business. Avoid at all cost for window purchases.
