We had a great experience with this flooring company from start to finish. They removed and hauled away our old carpet, installed LVP throughout, and also carefully uninstalled and reinstalled our baseboards with caulking everything looks amazing and very professionally done.They were quick to order and install I believe it took less than a week all around! I got scheduled the same day I paid.The crew was efficient and respectful of our home. Cleanup was thorough, they took the time to clean up all around their work area. *Context*: I hired Erik and his team at EFS Flooring because I had the unfortunate experience of a prior contractor who installed LVP (5mm) on a subfloor that was poorly supported and had no moisture barrier. My floors had absorbed so much moisture from a layer of concrete that was laid without barrier that they began to crumble by simply walking around the living room. So, I specifically searched for and needed a flooring contractor in McKinney who specialized in subfloor repair and flooring replacement. The subfloor that needed a repair was for a 350 sq ft section of my 1920s historic house. This was because the subfloor needed to be completely replaced and I have a pier and beam foundation.*Why I hired EFS*: I was on a very tight timeline and Erik was flexible and willing to work with my schedule to quickly estimate, get the work going, and explain in detail, the nature of how the new subfloor, moisture barrier, and new flooring product would interact with my newly replaced and old but still working subfloor for the rest of the house. Erik understood how worried I was about how the work would progress and finish given my tight timelines and how I did not want a repeat of crumbling subfloors again. With his assurances and after observing how his crew took great care to carefully remove my baseboards (which we reused), I was thrilled to see the work progress.*What I decided*: In the end, I decided on a premium LVP with a different core material; instead of stone polymer composite (SPC), I chose wood plastic composite(WPC), and opted for a very high 12 millimeter thick product, which ensured the click-lock mechanism would last for years to come. I am 100%, without a doubt, confident that Erik’s recommendations, guidance, and expert problem solving skills means I’ll have beautiful floors that are incredibly durable, and long lasting for many many years.I highly recommend Erik and his team to handle flooring work in your home! :)
I can honestly say WOW is the only word that fits! EFS Flooring did an amazing job from start to finish. The crew showed up on time every day, worked hard, and finished right when they said they would. I was extending tile in a new build into the bedrooms, and they blended the new planks so perfectly you’d never know where the floor installed by the builder ends and the new one begins (I believe it’s called lacing). Before they started, they even walked me through the layout for each room to make sure I liked how everything would flow from what the builder installed and their work.Eric, the owner, was fantastic! I got several recommendations and estimates and Eric was by far the best. He was knowledgeable, honest, and truly proud of his team’s work. He was hands-on and came by daily to check progress, which really says a lot. The whole crew was professional and clearly cared about doing things right.If you’re looking for flooring work, don’t waste time calling around. Start with EFS. You’ll be glad you did!
Erik and his team did a phenomenal job with our flooring needs. They demoed existing tile and replaced with new. We also had our carpet ripped out and installed red oak. They sanded down exactly hardwood and stained all to match. It turned out perfectly. Both crews were fantastic and very polite. They completed both jobs within 7 days and we couldn't be happier. Price was fair and they did everything to make sure we're completely happy. Their showroom is great and we highly recommend.
