The in-store staff were helpful in choosing my new flooring (carpet and vinyl plank). They also stuck to the time-line promised and honoured the quoted cost. Joel dropped off the vinyl plank prior to installation and consulted with me on direction of flooring and other details. He was incredibly respectful of my recently laid white carpet taking on/off his shoes with every load carried into the house.The installers, Kyler and Corey were professional, friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my needs - eg. being very careful of the recently painted walls, and newly installed white carpeting, etc. They did a fantastic job on the installation of both the vinyl plank and carpeting. They were meticulous, made sound decisions where needed, cleaned up after themselves daily and took extra care not to let the residence fat cat out of the house when entering and exiting to cut flooring. They did such a great job on my carpeting, I requested they also install the vinyl plank. Great crew - very skilled and personable young men.From start to finish Kimball Carpet One staff were helpful, quick to respond to questions, friendly and easy to deal with for a smooth, easy renovation.
Joel and his staff were very professional. They quoted our flooring , and helped us with all the details. They went way beyond our expectations. They looked , and pointed out details the other firms did not even address. Our installer Brent was a perfectionist at his work. They stuck with the quoted price and installed well before the original delivery date. I would highly recommend this flooring company, Carpet One. I will use them again. ( I would give them 6 stars ).

In 2019 we had the flooring in a large section of the working area of our home replaced. I anticipated extensive disruption while the installation took place but our experience with the installers was excellent. I only wish I could recall their names to give them credit. They were easy to work around and did a beautiful job of laying the tile. The only improvement I would have appreciated would have been a bit deeper layer of grout. But part of the issue here lies with the store staff underestimating the amount of grout that would be needed for the job.Overall, the floor has held up very well over the last 5 years. However, the one great disappointment I have is that it is not easy to clean. When we originally had the floor installed I quickly realized that the surface had fine dimple marks which could potentially be difficult to keep clean - and so it has proved. I have to get down on my hands and knees and scrub every inch for it to be truly clean. With the grout fairly deep it is not easy to get it (the grout) clean and it is somewhat discolored after 5 years. I did ask for cleaning tips for the tile when it was first installed but we have never received them. In fact, I fully intended to write a review when the floor was first installed, mainly because I was so impressed with the installers, but I decided to wait until I got feedback as to floor maintenance. After 5 years I assume this is not going to be forthcoming so I am going ahead with the review now.Overall; sturdy tile, great installation team, not easy maintenance.

This is the second time we have had Kimball do flooring in our home, and once again, we are not disappointed. Firstly, they are fast, like wicked fast. They are polite, clean and they keep the work space tidy. Going into the store to find flooring was a breeze. There is always help on hand to find what is best and to go through things with you. Access to the building is perfect, with a great new location and plenty of parking again. All around, we are happy customers who highly recommend Kimball Carpet One.
