They walked us through every step of the process and always treated our home with care and respect—keeping dust to a minimum and the workspace tidy.We had a mix of flooring throughout our house: a cheap floating floor in the master bedroom, glue-down laminate in the office, and carpet in the living room. The transformation is amazing! The quality of craftsmanship is second to none, and the finished product has truly elevated our space. We are extremely happy with the work Randy and his team did with our flooring. We purchased an open plan home which had a mixture of flooring (laminate, tile and hardwood) and wanted to match the existing red oak floors into the rest of the home. Randy was a pleasure to deal with, open and honest and upfront about scheduling and pricing. His team were extremely hard-working and did an amazing job refinishing and matching the older floor with the new. They really took the time to help me with stain considerations and ensured we were happy with it when finished. The floors turned out to be the most beautiful aspect of our renovation, and the team the easiest to deal with. I would not hesitate to work with Old World Hardwood Floors again or recommend their work. High quality product and finish along with excellent communication. These guys are true professionals!
Old World Hardwood Floors did a fantastic job on installing hardwood flooring in our new build home. Met with them early on and chose the 7 inch white oak. Randy was great throughout the process keeping us informed along the way. The type we chose was the unfinished floor then had it stained at the end of our build process. We liked this option so we could tailor the color to coordinate with our other finishes. The guys did a great job of sanding and preparing the floors then presenting us with color choices -- the finish is beautiful!
Randy and his crew did a great job installing the oak wood floor and stair treads and refinishing the front stairs to match them.We had major issue ( I had to have entire floors and stairs re-sanded and re-stained since the color didn't turned out the way I wanted due to how red oak planks took stain) but Randy was very easy to talk to and that made me feel better during the stressful process.His crew also made a sample board for me to test so I can move it around to each room to see the color and Randy didn't even charge me for that and helped me figure out the color that will go good with red oak planks. Because of re-sanding and re-staining, it took longer than I originally anticipated, I do love the look of my new wood floors now.When you hire any kind of business, I think it is important to have someone who's willing to fix the problem when it happens and do so without making the customer feel stressed. Hugo and his guys were also very patient during re-sanding and figuring out the color process, and I am very thankful for that. Overall, I had a very good experience with this company and I recommend them for anyone for their floor project.
The experience with Old World Hardwood Floors was AWESOME!! I currently live out of state and have had a lot of trouble getting anyone to work on my property, let alone give me a quote. I sent a request for an estimate with Old World on their website and Dane was out within a day to bid the job. From quote to project completion, everything was done within 2 weeks. The floor looks great and I'll definitely use them again in the future.
