Purchased couple times here without any issue..Unfortunately I lost my voice so It was hard to communicate one day when I came in and was instantly treated with quite the amount of hostility even while trying to say my doctor cleared me.Either way I was kicked out of the shop without even having the chance and when my voice came back and the hostility was still there..Sad even one of the owners didn't even speak up while I came in the second time.. I had quite a bit of Cherry to buy but now it will be elsewhere.
Always shopped locally when Melanie was the manager a few years ago now they hired Danny or whatever his name is and the customer service went down hill. The other lady could be just as rude as him depending on the day. I bought over 2000sq in flooring over the years lots of barn boards and 8x8 you name it I've probably spent 30 thousand on materials between shed projects and home construction. The customer service went down hill your spoken to like a child like you have never handled wood. The guy tried to sell me pine and said it was hemlock... I've attended maybe 6 times for different projects and after last week I just give up I'll never return.
Excellent customer service, Danny and Joanne go above and beyond - I highly recommend Bass Lake Sawmill - Breezewood Floors! Also my floor are absolutely stunning!
I never, ever leave reviews for anything but I just had the most awful interaction with this company over the phone. I called asking for a quote, and before I could give any details, the lady on the phone ripped into me, was incredibly patronizing, and suggested I didn’t know what I was taking about. I was ready with the type of wood and dimensions I needed but she didn’t even give me a chance. I obviously wasn’t making a big order, but I’m still a customer, I’d just encourage you to be a bit kinder.
Bought some beautiful dimensional maple from Danny at Bass Lake. They have a great selection of hardwoods, good pricing and its nice material. Danny was great to deal with, very helpful, knowledgeable and interested in making your visit to their business enjoyable. I Highly Recommend
