Reviews
What customers say
Customers praise flooring quality and attention to detail. One customer recalls an earlier Rome hardwood refinishing and says a later update involved luxury vinyl plank on the main floor and stairs. A customer said too little varnish was applied after hardwood work and another way to protect the floors was needed; separately, a family's request to have a refinishing job corrected was not acted on.

Years ago Rome refinished our hardwood floors beautifully. The customer service was exceptional. We were more than pleased. We have since moved . When it was time to update our floors & railing we only wanted to deal with the team at Rome Flooring. This time we chose luxury vinyl plank for our main floor & stairs. The attention detail is appreciated! Thankyou !!

Based on the driving skills of their workers I observed this morning I would never consider hiring this company. Distracted on phone, cutting people off, brake checking other drivers and speeding. Do better on our roads.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Rome Flooring, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Joe and his team went above and beyond to ensure I received the best service and product. From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. The quality of the flooring is top-notch, and the installation was flawless. I highly recommend Rome Flooring to anyone looking for exceptional service and beautiful flooring. Thank you, Joe and the team, for a fantastic experience!

My parents had their floors refinished and this is their idea of a good job, they called and asked them to fix it but no one did anything about it. I will never recommend this company. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Had carpet removed in 2 rooms and the rest of our hardwood floors lightly sanded & varnish applied. It's amazing what can be done to restore old hardwood! The stain that was applied to the different colour floors in the carpeted rooms matched next to perfectly to the other areas. The staff took great care in removing the staples/carpet and in the sanding/staining/varnish work and were knowledgeable with the process and letting us know what was happening throughout the project. We opted for water based varnish and are noticing the smell disapating much quicker than we had anticipated. Unfortunately not enough varnish was applied so we are having to find another solution to protect our floors, thus the 3 stars.
