In August some kind soul on Facebook recommended Magnus flooring when I was looking for someone to refinish the floors of my newly bought house. My husband and I are first time homeowners, and as you can imagine in this housing market, needed to make sure the investment was worth it. Well let me tell you, it was worth every penny!Angel reached back out to me immediately and we were able to schedule the week the team would come in to redo the floors. They got to work right away. The team was professional and very friendly. We ran into a hiccup when making a decision on the color of the floors due to some existing discoloration from nails in the wood, but they walked us through it and gave us more suggestions on colors dark enough to cover the yellowing, but light enough to brighten up the room the way we had originally wanted. We settled on a brown with an hint of grey and it was the PERFECT color! (We were originally looking for light/sand colored floors) but this exceeded our expectations.The next challenge we were faced with was when redoing part of the entryway coat closet, the team found that the floor was rotted to the subfloor. At a small additional cost, we were able to pivot quickly and Magnus completely replaced the flooring in the closet!The last challenge we experienced, was that when I was looking at the stairs, I saw some brush hairs on the newly finished treads. There was also some small bubbles on certain spots. It wasn’t a big deal and I wasn’t sure if the bubbling was due to the temp in the house (no AC so it was hot and humid going upstairs) or if it was just human error. I texted Angel the second I saw it and he immediately had their receptionist call me to schedule another day for someone to come out and address the issue! After 2 days of work, the staircase was looking great! The guy who came was such a perfectionist in the best way!The team was professional, responsive, and just a pleasure to work with. It’s not often you get contractors who have all of these qualities, but Angel and his team are definitely it!3 months later and the floors still look excellent!!10/10 would recommend!
We had Luxury Vinyl flooring installed and an entire new staircase redesign with Magnus. Marco and his team showed up everyday consecutively from start to finish. The workmanship is fabulous, we couldn't be happier.
Angel is a class act and a professional. More like “the Guru” of flooring! Being that we were pressed with time Angel Gave us accurate information as to the material we were getting on our floors, his opinion, and where the work was gonna start and finish approx. The guys that came in that morning and “got to work immediately and we’re all business” as if the plan was in full effect. Can’t thank Magnus enough. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to all.
Magnus Flooring came in and did a wonderful job. After pulling up the original floors, there was additional work that needed to be done unexpectedly. They informed me and it added a couple more days than expected but it was necessary and came out looking great! Highly reccomend!
