Hudson Hardwood did an outstanding job refinishing our floors. The sanding was meticulous—they took care to get even coverage and properly addressed some tricky transitions between rooms. The final finish came out beautifully smooth with great color consistency throughout. The crew was professional, kept the work area clean, and completed everything on schedule. Very pleased with how the floors turned out and would definitely recommend them for refinishing work.

Hudson hardwood did an amazing job restoring the 100 year old original wood floors in my home. The floors were badly stained by pets and linoleum tar from the previous owners. I thought they were not salvageable, but Joe and his team brought them back to life. They even added new, matching wood floors to the kitchen to replace the tile and create continuity throughout the house. They also refinished the stair treads. Everyone who comes over immediately gushes over how beautiful the floors are. Joe was communicative and available throughout the whole process, so everything went quickly and smoothly. I’m a very happy customer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who moves the furniture before refinishing?

Hudson Hardwood can move large furniture as part of the agreed work, while customers move lighter items and empty drawers and closets. Customers must provide storage space for furniture during the project.

Can homeowners stay during refinishing?

When only part of the home is being worked on, homeowners can stay in unaffected areas. Access to the floors is restricted during sanding and coating, and the team coordinates room access with the household.

Can I see stain samples in my own home?

Yes. The color-selection process includes sample swatches in a room of the customer's choice, with extra sampling in another area possible for larger spaces.
