Macadam Floor, Carpet And Design

A friend recommended Macadam Floor and Design after having a great experience, and I'm so glad I took her advice. I did shop around on price just to be sure, and they came out most competitive! Rick was fantastic from start to finish. Super responsive by phone and text, and he worked with me on a very tight timeline without missing a beat. I didn't even have to be home, his measuring crew was able to use the key in the lockbox to get in and do what they needed to do to provide an estimate. I was also really impressed with Rick's knowledge. I sent him the name of the carpet I had in my old house and he knew exactly what I was talking about. They even had it in stock! And he texted me several pictures of it just so I could be sure it was the right one! My husband was also able to stop by the showroom to confirm, and everything was just as expected. The whole process was handled professionally and efficiently, and the installation came out perfect. We couldn't have had a better experience! If you're in the market for carpet, I highly recommend reaching out to Rick at Macadam Floor and Design.

Macadam Floor and Design was recommended to me by a coworker. Ivan and his team have done beautiful work on the installation of vinyl plank floors at our home. They provide quality work and extremely professional, responsive and all around a great experience to work with. Our floors out class the rest of our home. We’ll need to purchase new furniture next. We are super pleased about all the tiny details and care they showed our home. They were able to complete this installation in one day. Extremely hard-working team and truly remarkable, they went up above our expectations. We would be happy to recommend them to all our family and friends. Natalia H. Portland, OR

Jon Forkner and Mandi Means were lovely to work with in the showroom, and Mani, the installer, did a great job. The team worked with me to squeeze the installation into a narrow window, so I didn't have to keep my retail shop closed for a long time. The LVP flooring looks gorgeous and is so pleasant to walk on. It seems like it's going to be easy to keep clean.

Mcadam provided materials in my home during the build and when I had a loss from a frozen hose spicket in the wall of my bathroom I had to gut half the master bath. Getting to work with Mandi was the best thing that could have ever happened for my situation. As a single mom, I needed every penny to stretch as far as it possibly could. She stayed patient and helped me above and beyond the whole way, regardless of the countless emails, material changes, and questions along the way. She stuck with me for the long haul with prompt responses, helpful suggestions, and compassion. Her installers were wonderful, fast, and made a finished product that was stunning and done with precision and care. The finished product is absolutely stunning. I could not be happier with this company and the team that went above and beyond to make my projects come together seamlessly. I will hands down use this company again for any future endeavors. After this experience, the bar they’ve set is untouchable.

We worked with Brian and would not recommend Macadam for backsplash work this was quoted $2600 with around $150 in material. Had sub come back to fix, but only a few tiles were replaced that had obvious lippage. Photos are after “repair” overall uneven grout joints and crooked tiles. Will have to live with until I find a professional tile setter to redo
