Edit… The owner of Homescope Decor has waived the bill and apologized if I felt he yelled or raised his voice at me, he still however stands by the contractors work, I am ok with his choice to do so and I will be replacing the baseboards soon…. I did post this on his Facebook business page as a review but he promptly removed it twice so therefore you only get to see reviews he approves of there! ….Will never use Homescope Decor again, liked the owner at first, was very happy with the process but then when he was questioned politely about the bill that was way more than it should have been he was rude and raised his voice at me and didn’t care that he lost a customer. Guess the little people don’t matter to him, more interested in bigger projects. I patiently waited three weeks after my floor was installed, with my house upside down, for the baseboards to be installed (which should have been done the same day as the floor because they knew I wanted it done and it’s part of completing the job). They finally sent someone to install the baseboards who notched over the transition strips instead of cutting the transition strip and leaving the baseboard whole which is what I asked for, didn’t even talk to me about him doing it his way, he just did what he wanted. I know have to buy more baseboards and do it as I wanted, not fair to me. When I politely asked I was told he was top notch installer and assured me it was done right, I just said ok thanks. Didn’t want to cause issues. I soon get a bill for a day call out of nearly $300 for a 70 min job. I should have been billed the linear foot which was 38.25’ like I was told by the owner it would be and that it wouldn’t be much he said. I should have been billed as if they were doing it the day of install, which I might add their trailer with equipment to do baseboards was stuck at clucus lake due to snow which is not my problem so I shouldn’t pay more because they couldn’t, I was patient, I was taken advantage of and treated very poorly by the owner. One very unhappy customer here. Better business bureau and customer consumer protection will be contacted shortly as he had no desire to keep this customer happy.
AJ and his staff are super knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We have redone majority of floors in our house and couldn't be happier with him, their installation and service they have provided. Thank you again love the way our projects have turned out.
Poor quality work done for a friend that i saw myself. Very unprofessional time management, refuses to correct faulty work or wont reply. Don't use.
