We love our laminate floors by Hailo flooring! Ryan was a gem to work with. He helped us decide between LVP and laminate and he was patient and flexible when we had to postpone the installation due to some unforeseen issues during our home remodel. We went with Eternity Laminate Sequoia Collection in the color Empire. We chose a grainy/textured laminate so that our big dogs would not slip easily on the floors. This color is great at hiding dog hair. Hailo also did the floor boards and door casings (style Coronado) which complete the clean and modern look. The whole project, including some demo and re-laying of subfloor, took about 6 days. We were very pleased with Hailo’s quality products and installation and their supreme customer service ??
Disappointed. Sat outside the door waiting for them to open from 7:45 am to 8:21 am. Left because nobody showed up. Will not waste my time going back.EDIT after response from owner below because I do not know how to respond otherwise.I was sitting next to a parking spot that had a sign that indicated the spot was reserved for an owner/employee of the business.Generally, in my experience, small businesses open from the front of the store and then prop the door open or turn on (or flip over) a sign that says "open" in the window, etc. If entering from a back entrance, they come check the parking lot at the front and prop open the door or flip a sign that says they are open, so customers can SEE they are in there. Nobody came to check for customers outside.Since no one ever came to park in that Hailo spot with the sign, there was no open door or an "open" sign in ANY of the windows that are covered so you can't see inside if the lights are on, I felt there was no need to check the door - it was very obvious to me (as a former store manager, myself) that the business was closed. I saw no need to get out of the car and go check the door. You need to put a sign on your door or window so early customers can SEE you are open. Most people will not approach a door to check if it's locked or unlocked if, under all other appearances, the place appears deserted... unless it's a bank and during business hours for that bank. Stores, not so much.Perhaps making customers aware your store is open is only an east coast thing. I'm from NY and FL where "we" always wanted to insure our customers knew we were open for business during posted business hours. Losing customers because they didn't know we were open was never allowed to happened.
Five-Star Experience with Halo Flooring – Again! This was my second time hiring Halo Flooring, and once again, they did not disappoint. This project was a smaller one — just installing flooring in my daughter’s bedroom — but they treated it with the same level of care and professionalism as a major job.The floor in the room was uneven, and the crew took the time to properly level it using a grinding tool and self-leveling concrete. They laid drop cloths all the way up the stairs to protect our home, and any cutting or grinding done indoors was connected to a vacuum to keep dust to a minimum. They cut most materials outside and made sure the space stayed clean. The team showed up when they said they would, cleaned up thoroughly each day, and completed the job exactly as promised. I highly recommend Halo Flooring and will definitely be using them again in the future.
START YOUR FLOORING PROJECT HERE! Customers service / communication was the best I have ever had. My installation team, Angel and Liam, were amazing. Don’t skimp on the baseboards. Check out these hand-done blonde corners.
Everyone we worked with here was friendly and professional. The sales manager, Ryan, was not pushy, just helpful, which we appreciated. We had our entire downstairs done (kitchen, living, dining, bathroom and den). The flooring we picked is great quality and we felt that pricing was fair. We love the floors - they are beautiful (some areas bow which I was told they can’t fix? Found that odd, but I’m not a floor expert). The reason I am not giving five stars is because we are really disappointed with the base board installation and some of the communication. After having the installer back to fix some things, the care and attention to detail is simply not there. The first go around, all nail holes were left without any filler or painting so we had holes all over every base board. We asked that they be filled and painted which should be standard practice. There were also some cracks in new quarter round and gaps before doorways were left unsealed. After they left the second time, I went around to check base boards only to find most had again been left without paint. Much of the caulking (see attached) has dust and hair dried into it and most wasn’t sanded smooth so it looks like we got the “landlord special” (this was not our doing, likely a messy work space or dirty hands that mixed hair and dust into the material). I was left with touch up paint so I have decided I’m better off filling and painting them myself at this point - it’s a big inconvenience for us having to take time off work to be here for continuous repairs. I will probably have to scrape and re-do dirt and hair-filled areas of caulking myself as well. Communication from some folks, like Brandon, was not great; often had to reach out multiple times to hear back. I hate to leave less than 5-star reviews, but overall just really sad about the baseboards because these are the finishing touches that matter and we invested a lot into this project.
