Reviews

What customers say

Several customers praise the finished floor work, including a repair of prior-owner damage and a small flooring-infill job that one customer said looked as if it had always been there. Rental accounts differ: two customers describe helpful advice or equipment in good condition, while one reports repeated trips for forgotten or broken equipment and guidance they found fragmented and unhelpful. That customer also appreciated a free second weekend of sanding-equipment use after a stain blunder.

Used Wascana Floors to rent equipment and purchase product to refinish the hardwood floors in three bedrooms. From beginning to end, the process was cumbersome and frustrating. Equipment wasn’t ready for pickup, had to return to their shop FOUR times to pick up equipment they forgot, material they forgot or to replace equipment that was broken. Didn’t provide some important information and the information they provided was disjointed and less than helpful with all the equipment and material issues. We are thankful they loaned us the sanding equipment free of charge for a second weekend to remove a stain blunder. In hindsight, I wish we had replaced the floors rather than refinished them. Wasn’t worth the time or frustration.

Highly recommend Wascana flooring! I rented equipment to refinish my hardwood floors and Tammy was terrific! She provided professional advice when needed, she provided us with everything I needed, and the equipment was in great shape. Thanks Wascana!

The business side is very well run, and the work done is world class. Greg was able to fix all the damage done by the previous homeowner, and my floors are essentially perfect now. My expectations were exceeded, and I highly recommend Wascana Wood Floors and More if you want the best results.

The entire team at Wascana Wood Floors was excellent. I rented the equipment from them to complete the job myself and they were great to deal with when I had questions about sanding or finishing. The finished result on my floors was fantastic. I'm very glad I chose to go with Wascana. I couldn't recommend them more.

Had a small, but tricky, job piecing in flooring where we had taken out a couple short walls. Greg said they were booking months away but that he would get back to me. Called a few hours later and they were able to fit us in the next day. (Thanks so much for that!) Cost was very fair. The work was fantastic, it looks like it's always been that way! We were very happy with everything from start to finish & definitely recommend using Wascana Wood Floors.
