I have used Quality Floors for Less four times now over the last three years. They have beautiful durable flooring. The installation one time was not perfect but they came back out and fixed it. The problem was a sticking sound when you walked on it. Since then they got a new installer and he is an artist. Such attention to detail! It could not have been better. The two owners take care to make sure things run smoothly. I highly recommend them for quality, selection and price.
We looked into a couple of cheaper options that didn't feel right and we are stoked that we picked them. They are efficient, hard-working, communicate well and are very detail oriented. We love our new carpet and laminate floors. They did a wonderful job and would very much recommend them.
We don’t live in Reno full time so working long distance with any contractor is full of challenges. Quality Flooring was an absolute dream to work with even given these circumstances. Bidding and billing was seamless. The pre work and prep was thorough and complete. They were great at helping us look for the flooring we wanted and even opened an account with the manufacturer we wanted. The work was BEAUTIFUL- all the fine detail was perfect. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you need flooring done, do yourself a favor and go with these guys. You won’t regret it. Liz and Jim King
Highly recommend Quality Floors 4 Less team. From meeting them at their showroom and choosing the right product to installation, they showed their professionalism and knowledge of their products. Installation was done also professionally and timely. Thank you Ivan and Sergey!
I hired Qualify Floors 4 Less (QF4L) to install hardwood in two rooms and a closet. The planks meet at an angle, forming an X, so at the ends they are 1-2 mm apart from each other. The installer tried to hide his mistake by applying wood filler which made it worse. The installer could have prepared the concrete first, instead of just throwing the planks over the uneven surface. But that would have been more time, more material and less profit. One of these eye sores is under a door. We covered the other in the middle of the room with a carpet. But this is not the biggest problem. Because of zero preparation like leveling that every flooring installer routinely performs even in the best homes and even for floating floors, my new floor moves up and down as you walk on it, touching and breaking away from the glue over the depressions in the concrete that should be been filled in, giving out annoying sucking and popping sounds. When I brought this to QF4L’s attention, the owners first blamed everything: moisture, landscaping, the IRS, before settling down for the most convenient excuse: I should have bought the flooring from them since everyone else sells “junk”, at least according to the owners. After more than a year of empty promises from QF4L that never materialized, I had no choice but to file a claim in court to get compensated for my loss. At the mediation hearing, the owners made fun of me when I said that the hardwood flooring should not be moving up and down since it is supposed to be glued down.Their ridicule does not apply to their customers only, but extends to everyone within the company. When Mark came out to fix the issues by drilling random holes here and there, and replacing 1-3 planks, as if that ever corrected incompetent work, I suggested that he call the owners for advice. His response was: “Are you kidding me? Ivan [one of the owners] never held a hammer in his hand.”They did not guarantee their work for me. However, they already billed me for material and labor for the next “attempt”. And this time, the numbers are even bigger, and so is their profit. You see, they take no risks, while I pay for an experiment, not a finished job.Now I will have to purchase 13 boxes of material again that they wasted, and hire an honest, competent installer that will demolish this fiasco and redo the job.I have owned multiple properties for two decades and employed up to a dozen contractors each year. I have never had an argument with any. They always came back to take care of outstanding issues even after I paid them. No one treated me as badly as QF4L.Feel free to do business with QF4L if you like experiments performed in your house or if you like going to court. I do not.
