Balarini Floors did a wonderful job redoing the our upstairs flooring of our home. We replaced a carpeted family room and hallway with a walnut-look laminate and re-carpeted the bedrooms-they made a few uneven floors even again! We definitely would recommend them for their job thoroughness and personal care. Maria and Dylan were terrific to work with.

Balarini Floors completed installing new carpeting in our entire office in one day. Timing was crucial as we have a small window for office repairs as a local accounting firm that prepares tax returns for clients year around as well as bookkeeping and payroll. Thanks to Hilton, Dylan and Maria for doing an awesome job and for being so considerate and helpful. If you step on it, they do it.

I wasn't planning on leaving a review, but due to continued communication issues and how our concerns were handled throughout this process, I feel it’s important to share my thoughts.

In my experience, the quality of work throughout our home did not meet reasonable professional expectations. We observed uneven and poorly cut shoe molding, visible gaps, unattached trim, missing transition pieces, visible saw marks, and residue and grime left on walls and baseboards. We also observed pencil markings on the flooring, closet doors that were not reinstalled, and toilets that were not caulked. The job site was left in an unsafe and unclean condition, including trash, nails, cigarette butts, and even a razor blade at our front entrance (we have children).

After raising these issues, we did not experience a sense of urgency or proactive problem-solving from ownership. Dylan, one of the co-owners, appeared nonchalant when the concerns were first presented. There was no apology offered and no clear plan communicated to address the issues. If not for our follow-up, many of these issues would not have been addressed.

It took approximately two weeks after installation for some of the issues to be addressed, during which time our family was unable to move furniture back into our home and had to live around unfinished work. Despite the delays, the inconvenience, and the condition of the work, no apology (from either owner, Dylan or Hilton - the only apology came from Victor the flooring crew foreman), acknowledgment of impact, or offer of compensation or price adjustment was made.

For the cost of the project, we expected timely communication, professional workmanship, and responsive customer service when concerns were raised. Based on our experience, we would not hire this company again and do not recommend them to anyone expecting quality work or service.
