We had a new floor installed in our kitchen by Cherry City and we couldn't be happier. They really know what they are doing. Don was there every step of the way for us. He's an excellent communicator and he has tons of experience. He's also just a super nice guy. We are planning to use them again!

My experience started out promising but turned frustrating. I had a small, straightforward job—replacing carpet on a staircase—and was on a tight timeline. The company provided a quick estimate of about $600 based on a remnant carpet, with the understanding that the price could change if I chose a different material. That seemed reasonable at the time.

When I went to the showroom, I discovered the remnant was in very poor condition—it looked nearly identical to what I was replacing—and the other options were limited and much more expensive. Even the “budget” choice I settled on added about $200 to the cost. Still, I made my selection and was prepared to pay immediately to keep things moving.

That’s when things became concerning. The salesperson didn’t seem inclined to record what I had chosen. I actually had to ask, “Do you need to make a note of which carpet I picked?”—only then did she enter something into the computer. This struck me as a very basic step in the process, and I was uneasy that I had to prompt it. Even then, they refused to finalize the order on the spot and insisted on sending me a revised quote later. That was odd because I knew the original quote and the price of the carpet, so it should have been a small adjustment that they could do right there.

When the updated quote arrived, the total had increased by another $150 in labor charges, in addition to the increased price of the carpet. The explanation was that the carpet had a “pattern” requiring more precise installation, but that wasn’t true—the carpet was a plain gray with some flecks. At best, this suggested they hadn’t recorded the correct product despite my efforts to clarify (I literally didn't even look at anything with a pattern). At worst, it felt like they were low-balling the initial estimate to “get me in the door” before inflating the price.

Either way, the combination of poor attention to detail and shifting costs destroyed my confidence in working with them. I walked away and hired another installer, who completed the job quickly, professionally, and for $500 total—including removal, carpet, and labor—less than their original estimate and about half their final quoted price.

In short: while staff were personable and I think made a genuine effort to work with my timeline, I found their process sloppy, their pricing inconsistent, and their communication unreliable. I would not recommend them.

Amazing experience. Had the entire floor redone with luxury vinyl. Price, availability, quality of materials, installation, customer service, friendly people, on-time completion, follow up to ensure our happiness, all of these exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this company for all of your interior needs from flooring, to window treatments, tile, cabinets, countertops, area rugs ... just great to work with all around.

We recently used their services to help with a custom home build, needing their help with flooring, paint, cabinets, tile, and countertop selections. Samantha helped us find exactly what we were looking for (despite us not quite knowing what that was) and created a beautiful home for us. At the end of the selections, just when I thought that I was going to have to try and explain the shade of grey paint I had in mind, she stepped away and came back with the wall and trim color in her hand - like a magical mind reader. My husband and I had been doing researching on luxury vinyl plank flooring. After visiting 4-5 stores, we finally settled on Cherry City Interiors & Designs because of their large display options and sheer professionalism.

Kent was great to work with from the very start. After a miscommunication, he was willing and able to wait at our house for 20 minutes before I was able to arrive for our estimate. He was able to cut us some great deals, so we were able to swing a remodel of our entire upper floor (approximately 1400 sq ft). We went with Valor Oak (luxury vinyl plank) and were very happy with our choice. It is scratch-proof and waterproof. (Perfect for small children and potential pets)

The installation crew was quick and efficient. When they came across a few "snags" in the process, they were able to make recommendations and adjust accordingly. The whole project was finished within 3-4 days. Turned out beautifully! Would highly recommend Cherry City Interiors & Design.
