Call Bruce before you start your floor project. As soon as he called me back I knew he was going to do the project for me. No BS no fluff Bruce been around for years and knows his stuff. We had water damage from a roof leak, buckled half the floor. It was a multi size solid white oak plank. Half the floor was ruined. They took its out and tied in all new planks. Looks perfect!!!! The craftsmanship is top-notch: perfect transitions, flawless sanding and staining, and the floors look awesome. The color match was spot-on, and the finish is flawless. I'm in the construction trades so i'm very familiar with the process. I got 2 other bids and they wanted to overcharge me and drag the project for up to 6 weeks. Bruce found the material and once he started he was done in a week. One more thing They were very clean and left no mess.100% RECOMMEND

Bruce from SBHF worked with us to get it taken care of. We had a box of the original flooring, but they had to custom mill part of the replacement material. Tyler and Carlos did a fantastic job!!

His level of commitment to having the quality be perfect was so impressive. I give him my highest recommendation. This is the second time I have used his team on a house and both jobs were impeccable. You won't find a better company than Santa Barbara Hardwood Floors to do this kind of work.

Bruce and his team, Tyler and Carlos, were absolutely wonderful! We had three bedrooms with carpet that was replaced with hardwood. They helped us clear out the rooms and put everything back in. The work is gorgeous and they were very considerate of us since we work from home, they were as quiet as possible and very polite. The clean up was done and it’s as if they were never even here! Bruce and his team are simply FANTASTIC. Bruce went out of his way to provide us a same day quote knowing we’d already collected a few precious quotes. He was honest and very direct in his communication and extremely knowledgeable. We went with him and he and his team started on time as promised, finished early and were incredibly skilled and diligent in their work. They cleaned up EVERYDAY and left the job site cleaner than how they’d found it. Having been in the business for 30 years it was easy to see why he is so busy—our results were amazing and our guests were blown away by with our newly finished floors.

Having spoken to a few of the bigger floor refinishers in town we were so happy we went with Bruce and SB Hardwood Floors for this big job...we saved money going directly to the service provider and dealt with some true pros! After our experience with Bruce and having previously done a job with RMS Flooring there is no way I’d ever recommend anyone other than SB Hardwood Floors!
