I can’t say enough good things about Alex and his crew at US Hardwood and Carpet in Santa Clara!! For our sizable hardwood project, my head was spinning trying to make sense of all the options available. When I went online, lots of folks suggested we check in with US Hardwood, and as it turned out that was sound advice.Alex was so responsive from the get go. We sent him marked up plans initially, and he made a base estimate from those. When we visited the store, he explained all the options in a no-nonsense manner, no upselling. And he came on site to make and refine the measurements and do a site survey. Then our project was delayed- and I only reached out to him again many months later. Alex had detailed records of all our discussion and we picked up the project where we left off!His pricing for the material we ordered was competitive, and delivery on time. The quantity of material we ordered could be met by combining two batches, but Alex called to say he wasn’t comfortable doing that- he wanted to avoid having batch-to-batch variation in this project and arranged for all material from one manufacturing batch. While we ended up not using his installation service, Alex was still very helpful guiding us on the installation details and installation materials (glue/nails/paper) for the hardwood panels we bought. Talk about great customer service! Highly recommend Alex and his crew at US Hardwood and Carpet in Santa Clara.

- Our issue was resolved thanks to Alexis' support. Thanks Alexis.Quality of floor I bought from US Hardwood and Carpet Inc is not guaranteed at all. I chose the premium brand one based on the recommendation of Alexis. However, when we received floors, there were lots of holes, chips, and odd color variation which I couldn't find from the sample. Because of poor quality of floor, our project is being stuck not making any progress. Our damage is huge not just cost of floors I paid. This is currently I am dealing with Alexis to resolve. I will update how this has been resolved. I really would like to see a professional resolution and compensation. Left picture is the sample I saw during the purchase decision. All other pictures are what I received. I am being told these are normal pieces not defective ones. This is the most absurd responses I've ever heard from any business I worked with so far.
When we listed our home for sale we used US Hardwood and Carpet to update our flooring. We wanted to go with someone who would do a great job for us at a reasonable price and boy did they deliver!! We had already done one room on our own a few years earlier and didn’t need to replace that flooring so they found the same flooring we had used and matched it. We had the option to go with other flooring companies but we had heard so many great things about US Hardwood and Carpet and it was too important of a job not to use someone with such great referrals from people we know and trust. Even though our home was small they made us feel like we were one of their biggest customers!! This was particularly important as selling our home of 30 years was a big step for us.If you’re looking for someone you can trust to do a good job on your home, look no further than US Hardwood and Carpets.
